Absolutely PERFECT. I really enjoy this version of Pam myself! Very fancy indeed. And who would have thought the idea of them NOT having a date would be just as good if not better than them actually going out! ...Apparently you did! Good on ya!
End it with smut or a barn dance...either one you wish. I adore this! A conference call with the president of spain -- so freaking good. This is too adorable and sexy! I'm with Pam too...the idea of him defending the actions of that crazy girl is just so sweet. Love him!

I loved how you had them both talking about their thoughts on Women's Appreciation day. What realistic thoughts for Pam to be having -- hoping that he thought it was something sexy and stashing it away so he'd nevere know that it WASN'T something sexy...and Jim imagining what was in the bag. I also loved how quickly he discarded the idea of that green scrap of fabric! Nicely done, once again!

Colette...Lordy woman I want you to write JAM EVERYDAY. That line when he asked if he could kiss her for awhile...seriously?? It might have been THE hottest thing I've ever heard him utter. Then the vision of them sitting together eating from a big bowl of spaghetti...I just loved this more than I can express! Thanks!

Absolutely loving this. I have tried to compare that yogurt lid note to something and you finally nailed what had been on the edge of my mind...cute notes of encouragement from my mom...::sigh:: not that this is about me - sorry - I just love this story you've created here. I also loved the thought Jim had about how they were on the verge of something but it was so THEM to laugh it off or play scrabble.
Also your dialogue is spot on!
This is just...perfection. I hope you know that. Seriously from word 1 to the very last...perfection. I adore that she just went for it. I also adore that Jim put the breaks on (and lost man tallies in the process - rofl). What I adored the most was Jim saying that he liked new Pam but also loved the original Pam. This just GREAT stuff. i can't wait for the next chapter!

Oh...Stablegirl. So much about this is SO right on. Let me start at the end, and say that conversation about Barry Manilow - that totally read like canon. Absolutely a conversation that our beloved JAM would have! Way to go! And then, there's a moment when Jim is thinking about how much he likes that Pam calls her own bluff now when she knows she's lying! So great. And that it's SUCH a Pam thing to do! This is just GREAT!!!
UNBELIEVABLY sexy. I'm not sure how you did this...just the underlying tension...just there bubbling underneath the fun banter about pepperoni no less and "defacement" ROFL. This is so so so good.

Ok, so I'm in ABSOLUTE agreement with your friend. You have to write the fluff more often. This sweeter than all get out, but also very realistic in that I can see it being this "easy" for them, in terms of just falling into each other. You blended the perfect balance of lighthearted ease with tender genuine moments and the wackiness of a Ryan/Kelly break-up. Just LOVELY.
::sigh:: nothing better than a JAM baby. I loved this, and definitely loved the last two! Jim and Pam married ::sigh:: AND honeymooning in Melbourne was the perfect touch!

Right after The Job aired, someone on the NBC message boards posted with regards to Jim and a potential life with Karen in New York that “Jim is not the kind of guy to do the city...he's going to be much more content to live life with Pam sitting next to him on the couch while she rocks their baby to sleep.” ~sedimentary
This statement warmed me all over and has stuck with me for a long time. I wanted to write about it.

Indeed it is! Gosh, there's something so unbearably sweet about the scenario you've created here. This is defitintely getting favorited. Just the soft quietness of it...::sigh:: wonderful.
Dinner, and what happened later. Post-Season 3.I love this a LOT. The small moment that really got to me was Jim having his hand on the small of her back during this entire thing. Kind of reminding her that YES we are on a date, and I understand the gravity of that...even we are having dinner with Michael and Jan! Love it!
I loved this! Just so romantic and the dialogue was spot-on -- especially during the tour! Great story!
Too bad there's no spellchecker in that closet. CLASSIC. I just love so many things about this. Everyting from Michael sending that tactless note to their table and to the kiss at the end that was perfectly timed. I can't wait for the next chapter!

I'm with Pam, I can harldy wait....for the next installment! This is so how I would imagine Jim being when planning a wedding...involved and excited, but totally willing and happy to do what she wanted. I imagine him this way if he ever found out about Pam wanting a house with a terrace. Great stuff here!

Because sometimes, he has to take a step back and realize that it's really happening.
Jim and Pam try to find their way back. Hopefully without a national audience. Spoilers up to The Job. Oh this is great! You have managed to work a new angle into a first date story! WAY TO GO! I loved the backwards take on things and that even after they'd had sex they were still nervous. Also loved it when the camera crew walked in but gave them the head's up that it was a fave hangout. GREAT STUFF!
