Absolutely perfect. I'd forgotten how much I wanted to know the story behind that wire and "I got up there" from Jim in that episode. THANK YOU for shedding light on that.  I also imagined that when Pam said "My back hurts" that she said it in this sort of shrill way...like she does when she's tired. lol.  I love the dynamic you have of them sitting over toast and talking about what flea market they were going to hit that day...just lovely on all counts. Thanks for this!

Annabel this is fantastic.  There's something so absolutely adorable about Jim being called Keebler and don't we all know that fear of a nickname catching on.  Jokes on them, tho! Ha! I loved the rest of this too.  Meredith's memories are especially poignant.  This chapter is a fabulous addition to the story.

Oh that felt like the sweetest, warmest blanket.  I loved the conversation in the car, her demand that he not joke about not marrying her...and then that lovely quiet moment at the end. Just beautiful.

Author's Response:

Warm blankets are good.  I'm so happy you liked it.  Thank you for the sweet review!

Oh Blanca...I knew this would be worth the wait.  This title is my favorite line from My Funny Valentine, btw.  This piece was beautiful...the juxtaposition of not only their relationship with the Vances, but their relationships with other people, and even what their relationship had once been with each other. I love that quiet comfortable - but ABSOLUTE love that does not have to be showy...this was wonderful.

Oh this was great! Your voices are spot on.  It's hard enough to do Michael, but I think who's even more difficult is Pam and you absolutely nailed it.  That phone conversation where she's asking him all those questions about why he's not asleep...that's vintage Mom-Pam.

Great stuff!

BEAUTIFUL.  Gosh, I love this.  I adore crew POV, and this was especially nice, because you captured the relationship not only between the characters so perfectly but the relationship between the crew with those characters.  I love the dynamic you talk about with Jim flirting and her giving up the tape...and the sweet little moment on the steps with him scooping her up like she's his bride anyway. PERFECT.  Exactly the kind of glimpse that I'm sure we won't get on the show...just those tiny little intimate moments of end of workdays and no lights coming on in the house...I'm rambling, and when I say I could go on forever I'm not exaggerating.

This little piece here - I loved it.

Aw Colette, my dear...thanks for rounding this story out so very nicely. I think what's most interesting about this piece is the maturity you show in Jim - I think it's the first time I've read of him where he hasn't been absolutely denying any similarities to Michael. Here he seemed to take it in, take it for what it was worth and feel ok with it.

Aside from, that the yummy goodness of how J&P got pregnant and how they found ways to celebrate. The yummiest detail of them all was his hand spanning her abdomen and him wondering how long he'd be able to do that.  Just lovely.

Summary: It’s dizzyingly beautiful, the sun bouncing off the sand and the water, and she breathes out, grabbing Jim’s hand and pulling him towards the shore.

man, nothing better than picturing Jim and Pam on a beach in San Diego. that's fabulous....and Jim suggesting they take a drive down to USC and UCLA.......and more than any of that -- my favorite part was his reminder that they could still live their life even with their kids.  They could still make time to do the things on their list. ::sigh:: So beautiful.

Author's Response: Thanks! They might as well drive to USC and UCLA, it just makes good sense to get everything done while you are on that side of the country, right?\r\n

Summary: "Like all Mondays, they took separate cars because Pam had her art class across town after work. Like all Mondays, Pam dropped the kids off at Jim’s parent’s house in the morning and he picked them up in the evening. But today was not a regular Monday—as Jim would soon discover." After an unexpected occurrence, Pam finds herself falling in love with her husband, Jim, all over again.

I'll be honest...when I first opened up this story I thought -- oh no, amnesia...BUT, I think you had me at Jim taking care of his kids. Bath time and bed time...that'll do it every time for me. I have a feeling this is going to be really great, seeing how Pam falls in love with her husband. I'm excited for the next chapter!  Good stuff.

Author's Response: I know the idea of amnesia is a little cliche. But I really wanted to write about Jim and Pam falling in love all over again, without repeating all the other fanfics out there. So, I was watching 50 first dates and the idea came to me. And of course I have to add babies! I love baby fics, which makes september surreal! Thank you so much for reading... I hope to update soon!

I'm really enjoying this story.  I think the idea of Pam getting a glimpse of her relationship with Jim sort of from the "outside looking in" is going to be VERY interesting. I can't wait to see how the past unravels for her and how that effects their future. Good stuff.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I\'m having a lot of fun writing the idea of Pam seeing the past through Jim. I\'m kind of having Jim be the mirror for her right now, until she began remenbering pieces of her life here and there. And the past will be creeping up on them pretty soon! Once again, thanks for keeping with me on this one. =)

What's clear is how well u have charactrized Jim and Pam as parents. I think this EXACTLY them as parents. What's also clear is that u know kids! Ellie and Ben are kids I know when I read this. I think the time ur tking to develop the romance is right on. They are afterall essentially strangers. Great job with this!

Author's Response: OMG, your review just cleared all my insecurities, we should talk more often, lol! My biggest things is not leaving the realm of Jim and Pam as characters. I want people to see them as them, ya know? As for the kids, I really try to make them kids... (My beta also works with kids, so there an enourmous help there) Sometimes I read fics that Jim and Pam\'s kids are these super smart, and all that... But I\'m glad you can see them as kids. And I\'m going to keep taking my sweet ol\' time to finish this story... The premier is still a month away, lol! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing... =)

That was THE best account of that time between Beach Games and The Job that I've ever read.  I can't even remember if anyone's ever done it before.  Not only was everything so amazingly plausible and in character (Jim's take on Darcy in a British accent -- made of awesome), but there was just so much heart.  The encounter at the grocery store...something tells me that maybe there was even an underlying inside joke that we weren't made privy to there...or maybe it was just the difference between french vs. italian bread --  either way, I loved this so much.  Thanks so much for not thinking it was too late to share this.

Author's Response: Thank you, LoveFool! I love Jim talking in an English accent. Or any kind of affected voice, really. :D You should know that \'plausible\' and \'in-character\' mean a lot to me, so thank you for that. Glad you enjoyed it--thanks for taking the time to let me know.

How absolutely lovely! The combination of the rain, the quiet angst they were both feeling, and of course that completely believable childhood story felt absolutely profound. I've never really thought about how many demons Jim could potentially exercise in that house. Loved this.

Author's Response: Thanks lovefool, I\'m especially glad you found Jim\'s story believeable. I would imagine there are a lot of ghosts to be conjured up in this house, so to speak, some good and bad - besides the clown painting. Your comments are much appreciated.

I loved this sneak peak into a Jim/Pam fight.  Also all the delicious nuggets you dropped in...high blood pressure = no birth control pills....Michael saying something stupid that she might ordinarily be able to brush off...but well...perhaps maybe her emotions are slightly out of wack given the bun in the oven...this is good stuff.

Oh and am I right in thinking that window is open and the floor is getting soaked? oy...ok, on to the next chapter.
