Oh Hugs...this is so freakin' perfect. It's sexy as all get out with JUST the right amount of sentimentality. The picture you painted of how Jim looked when he found her in the lobby, with his jacket off, and sleeves rolled up...holy mother. Then the foot rubbing...and the possible foot um...fascination. Just GREAT. Wonderful trip down memory lane.

Ooooh I love this. First off, I was NOT expecting her to say that she'd fallen asleep DURING sex. That was awesome! I quite literally laughed out loud at that one! And poor Jim's confusion over whether she wanted him to be mad or not. lol. Then the final wonderfully naughty exchange...was indeed perfectly filthy.

Oh this is getting favorited in a MAJOR WAY. Wow...just everything about this piece is so beautifully intimate. As much as I want Jim to be there for every moment of this process, I think the fact that he wasn't just adds another layer of passion to the way he feels about the baby and his wife...oh and the kisses...the kisses on her stomach, then her mouth...His wanting to tell everyone they both know. This is really just perfect. Awesome job.

I really enjoyed this. I love the point you made about managing people he doesn't think anyone can manage...exactly. I'm fairly certain this is what bugs me when people talk about what a horrible manager he is. He's dealing with an office full of crazies...as is Michael. Only Michael is ONE of the crazies, so he can relate. lol.
Anyway, stepping off my soapbox -- I loved this. I think these are very real thoughts that Jim might have.

Good GRAVY woman. This was so much more than smut. You're writing makes me j-e-a-l-o-u-s JEALOUS. It was just so deliciously beautiful from start to finish. I love how you showed us a little history through the use of their history with this color. I loved Jim asking the man on the plane if he could sit next to his pregnant wife and hold her hand...How achingly sweet. And little details like her licking the wine off of his lips in the airport...

But what if Jim had decided to go for it a long time ago, and what if he'd gone about it a subtler, darker way?THAT WAS HOTTER THAN...a HOT, HOT thing. The slow build up...so methodical. And then...WOW. Just wow. I loooove, dirty talking Jim. lol
Give you a head's up, huh? lol. WOW. I would not be worried if I were you. Not only was dom!Jim super hot, but I loved him falling asleep with the baby and Pam being so enamored with him two years later.....this was a lot of fun!

Spanish adjectives from high school? lol. I loved how totally and completely in character this was. From the moment Jim thought that maybe cursing under his breath was an offense to the baby in the car...to the moment when apparently he no longer had enough presence of mind to STOP cursing...lol. Smutty but still in character. Can't ask for more.

I LOVE THIS. I have a friend who's pregnant right now (about as far a long as Pam) and she's so in this stage right now...starting to freak out. So this just really rang true to me. There was also something terribly sweet about the end there when Pam said, "I hope she gets this"...what a nice touch.

That's a great line and genius way of tying in their honeymoon to the baby's arrival. Also adorable is how snuggly they are with one another. Each little vignette feels just so WARM. I love it.
Adorable. I'm not sure why, but I've always imagined drunk!Jim as a sweet, romantic Jim. Sort of sappy, and sort of out of it, and really touchy-feely. Needless to say this was really enjoyable because I think you hit the nail on the head! Or just my imaginary version of what I think he'd be like.
