also, I love Mark. I love it when we get to see more of him, and I love how you've written him here. "The Pam." haha.

I'm glad that the first of this four fixed everything that was sad about the fourth one about Jim. does that make any sense? well anyway, i like these ideas, interesting little twists to wonder, "what if?"
Author's Response: that makes total sense! i came up with this framework and kept tinkering, not really finding anything that worked for me. and then i wrote that two-parter and it just worked for me. glad you liked it. thanks!
A sequel to "Five Ways Pam Tells Jim She's Pregnant", about a year and a half down the line. Each vignette corresponds to one in the original story, and are five stand-alone realities.
This breaks my heart because i want Jim to just be happy... and sad Emily makes me sad too. it's good to know that he just can't be happy without Pam though. I like how you've written this one though. it's good stuff.

This is really cute! i love how you get to see all of their family change here. and i love how older Jim and Pam still have the hots for each other, and now instead of freaking out about a baby she's kind of asking if another one would be ok. it's precious!

I love this already. I have a feeling it's going to make me cry. It doesn't seem like a Jammy fic, but I'm willing to give it a chance. I'm intrigued to know what this Jim is like, and your writing style is beautiful. It's so introspective and descriptive. I also think it appeals to me b/c I feel the same way about the Fall. it's my favorite season, and I always end up thinking back on my life. so, you have a fan awaiting the next chapter :) there's encouragement, yes?

I am severely intrigued! seriously? wow. I love it. but... did anyone get shot? also, I love the image of them packing at the beginning, Jim in his hoodie in the car trying to stay warm, Pam being shocked that he wants to have sex in her parents' house (seriously is she surprised?) and "So you're the guy who changed my daughter's life?" I can't wait to see what happens next!
I loved this. I've read a LOT of first date fics, but this had poetry, so how can you argue with that? :) it's just so well written, and you've captured their characters VERY well. I love it.

It was fun to write about Pam meeting the Halperts and I always imagined that they would love her just like Jim does. Mr. Halpert, the Elder...I can't help it, he's pretty much my Dad and even though my Mom didn't have a single creative bone in her tiny Italian body, this is what I imagine it would have been like with them. For better or for worse, right? Thank you for all the encouragement, I really appreciate it!
This is so great. I love how you manage to make me laugh while reaching that serious part of me as well. You write so beautifully, I just completely get what's going on with Pam. The connection with Jim's mom is so precious. The argument over the sex, the cord! haha it's all so great. I think my favorite part is the description of them planting the tree and "You look good in the rain" I LOVE your writing and I can NOT wait to read more :)

I wrote an awful lot when I was much younger, but like Pam and her art, I just stopped and lost my feeling for it. Day-to-day life can wring every last ounce of creative juice out of a person, sometimes. Yes, I'm definitely writing this for myself, but reading a review like this inspires me even more. I cried a little (such a dork) when I was writing about the tree - I really love that image, too. Thank you so much.
This was amazing. the entire description of Allentown is so precious. It's the perfect trip for the two of them in this situation. The description of Jim standing in the window left me speechless and breathless and... just... amazing. I'm so glad it's back. and they're having a baby! how happy! you are an AMAZING writer and I can't wait for more.

Now, because it's my hometown, I know about all it's charms, but it can be pretty tough to convince anyone else! Thank you very much, rulesofjinx. My knowledge of medical things, you ask? Well, my parents both had a LOT of serious medical problems in the last 10 - 15 years of their lives. I learned more about cardiology, kidney stones, skin cancer & parkinsinism diseases than anyone would really want to know. It's been a few years, though, and I am kind of rusty on some of it. chelibelle has been really helpful answering questions about things I wasn't sure about. And then there's always Google. How on earth did we ever live Before Google? I'm trying to strike a balance so that people like JennInTheCity don't get bored with the medical stuff.
