Yup, it’s a post-Cocktails fic! With a bit of a twist. Karen does a bad thing, and Jim is about to suffer the consequences…you did amazing things with this chapter. i actually feel sorry for karen and then there's this feeling of hating Jim for the tiniest second. but he really can't help it he's in love with Pam now can he? anyway, i love it and can't wait for the next chapter!

i just caught up after missing a few chapters and i just have to tell you that it's wonderful. there's so much love here and tons of backstory to remind us why they fell in love. i really like that you don't just rush them into things, that they take their time and work through the hard stuff :) and i also like the fact that they're together now listening, instead of on the phone with each other.

aww!!! this is awesome and so unexpected! i love this: "it's in that moment that you realize you probably don't deserve her." how incredibly heartbreaking and precious all at once. i feel for every character in a different way, and sometimes it's nice to hate jim and feel sorry for karen. wait, did i really just say that???

A shockingly accurate post-cocktails fic written during the hainous. Jim rebuffs Pam's apologies and while distraught at the grocery store she meets a handsome stranger who catches Karen's eye too.
EPILOGUE ADDED :) STORY FINISHED! I had to change it to Explicit Sexual Content so avoid the epilogue if that isn't really your thing.
i love that you ended this with karen/jackson smut instead of jim/pam smut. because seriously? i've been wanting that boy to get some for a long time! haha... ok, now that my evil twin is safely tucked away... Jim really does deserve to be tortured for a little while at least because i really am afraid that if they just jumped into bed together everything else would fall apart. they need to figure out who they are with each other again. i really loved this story. i'm sad that it's over, but you've done a great job of finishing it up :)

sorry. that was my initial reaction to her OBVIOUS flirations at the end. so... i like that they're together. i just think she owes it to jim to let him go and find solace in pam's arms first. and jackson can confess his undying love for karen to pam so she won't be super pissed at her new hot friend.

Some people seem to be a little confused by his behavior, but to me there was no way he'd be able to keep his promise to Karen (to not get together right away) without having to avoid Pam entirely. Except for the letters of course. I'm glad you liked these letters. They were my favorite DG letters to write.
