I'm just not sure if the name is based on Charlton or Blunt (though the character has definitely Blunt's great sense of humor). Author's Response: Obviously_Blonde -- luckily, this story seemed to find its audience (even though there were a lot of haters). I think in retrospect we saw that Jim and Pam dealt with some of their issues in later seasons, but when I wrote this (between Season 3 and into early Season 4), they had not yet ... so it seemed plausible to me that they would tamp it all down in the bliss of new love and it would come back later to bite them in the ass. After you finish this one, read NEW YORK PAM FOR Pam's take on it all (it's MUCH shorter). :-D
The connection between Jim and Emily seems strong to me, I would argue, that if we were to actually see them together, it would appear stronger than Jam. Common interests do wonders for a relationship. But I guess those are the advantages of molding the perfect gurl for Jim from the start.

Since I cannot leave jellybeans on this story anymore (the limit is just so low sometimes), I'm gonna have to spell it out: this chapter is so good, same as the ones preceding it. Having one day described in three full parts was definitely a great decision!

These are meaningless, short and simple ways for me to pass the time. Most of these have been sitting on the hard drive I've been cleaning out for the past couple of weeks (slowly but surely). Just pregnant Pam and baby fluff. They were all labeled "babytimes01.txt" on my computer, hence the name. Just vignettes, not necessarily chapters in order, and the rating is caution for later. Spoilers for the Delivery in the last chapter.1 Ooh, I'm totally feeling the Christmas spirit even during October. Nicely done!
