Generally an annoying hopeless romantic.

I love writing, reviewing. In terms of reviewing - yes, I go back and read old stories. Sometimes really old. It is fun. Yes, I leave um, interesting reviews. Hopefully you like them. If not, tell me to shut up.

I am willing to beta. I can't promise a lot of grammar comments, but I can tell you what I like, don't like, and if something doesn't sound right to me. Feel free to contact me. I don't bite and fanfic is my life.

Summary: Past Featured Story

Okay, this is post Stamford (sort of) and is a little AU, given that we now know Jim and Pam have talked a little.  It's a bit angsty, but I swear, I was absolutely seized by the urge to write this!  It's based a little on some of the comments I read on Live Journal yesterday re: Jim as "a man with needs."  Heh. That makes this sound as if it's going to be a pile of smut, and it's not.  It'll just be a slightly different Jim - totally drunk!Jim.

Jonathan makes an appearance as well.

And for those of you who are concerned - remember, my fics always end with a happy Jim/Pam.  :o)  This one probably won't be as long as the others have been; I'm thinking it'll maybe be a two-parter.

This in no way relates to the story. But I was just asked what concert I would rather go to.
Pavoratti, Spice Girls, or a possible Willie Nelson.
Pavoratti was a possible I could get ejoyment. Spice Girls would have been great because of the mocking ablility. And Willie Nelson because its a weird joke betwee me and my mom.
I told you it didn't relate to the story, I just needed to tell someone. (I am so weird like that.)

On to the story. And already, two paragraphs in, I am like, poor Pam. That is awful. My stomach is i knots for poor Pam.

God, poor Pam. I mean, I know I've said that. Two times already. BUt that is an awful sick feeling!

I so know that feeling. I mean, not the feeling of "guy i like is having sex with cheap blonde floozy" but that sick and can't do anything about it feeling.

Jon called!

Okay, already, I love Jon. He forces them to think and take away pretenses!

You don't think Jim and Floozy are playing Go Fis? Monoplopy maybe. Yeah, Monopoly.

Damn that floozy is doing things I try my hardest to act like don't exist!!!

"It annoyed him that she didn’t immediately reach to tuck it shyly behind her ear."
ot really related, but every once in a while, I do something, and its like, that would be what Pam would do. Like tucking my hair behind my ear. Or twirling my ring, or fiddling with my necklace. Even mundane behaviors are all about Jim and Pam now. I like it :)

PAM ARRIVED! Its like super Pam! Like super FNB! Its all sorts of awesome

Holy crap! She finally told him. Not at all as romantic as casino night, but she told him! she told hiM!

Okay, I will try to remember to mention if I think it is in or out of character for Jim. BUt I really don't care. I think you could make Jim an alien and I would still love it. So I probably am not the best .... um, best whatever.

I so friggin love Drunk!Jim! He is so cute and adorable and silly!

Can I watch Jim undress? Pretty please?

I am really hoping that Jim's mom never tucked him in like THAT!

Reviewer: EmilyHalpert Signed

Okay. Steam and Smut. I shall read it. Or at least skim it and have it blow my mind. Whatever

Not that I've ever been drunk, but I can imagine waking up and seeing Jim (switched person since I am straight) would pretty much still make it an awesome morning.

I can almost certaily say my bathroom is not as girly as Pam's. Like, well, granted, I was in a dorm. But, I mean, it was white (dirty), and I just had one shampoo, one conditioner, and one bar of soap. I am not a girly girl like that. But I may be. I am becoming more girly as I grow up. So who knows what is possible :D

Lalala, they do stuff. And they live happily ever after.
Perfect timing for dinner :)

Author's Response:

Okay, Miss Emily Halpert (or should that be MRS. ?), you absolutely made my week with all the reviews.  And I fully intend to respond to them as soon as I have time (read: finish the story I'm obsessively working on).  But for the time being -- it was such a treat to get feedback on some of my older stuff!  (As I mentioned in another response, occasionally I'll re-read an older work, and...OMG, some of the earliest ones make me literally cover my face with my hand in shame.  Seriously.)

So it was great to get feedback on stories I wrote a while ago!  (And I should say, given your distaste for smut, I was SHOCKED that you actually read the Jim/Jan one!  That one still shocks ME when I think about it, LOL.)

Again: Thank you so much!

Ha! Karen sucks! What was odd is I could so see this happening, even though it totally didn't. Because Karen did look down on all of them and certainly Pam. So this totally could have happened. But instead they had to torture us with the real S3.

Author's Response: HA! The real S3 was hard, wasn't it? But the payoff was SO worth it!

See more reviews. You're just lucky you are a good writer :)
(PS: if you get tired of my weird reviews, well, you can't really do anything about the ones I've already given you, but just tell me to shut up, kk?)

ut th wh wh bu bt ph (aka me stammering trying to find words)
Okay, they are talking. Again.
Wow.

(also I always want three kitchens because that way I could take more time between cleaning them up. However, there is more to clean. Hmm. May have to rethink that)

I don't care if I am not even halfway through, I so friggin love this - that she would try to call him back after that phone call. I mean, because it does sort of seem like something she would do, and be freaking out about doing it, and then, it happens. Yep. Pretty perfect. Conversation included.

I remember once when I went up to the top of this water park ride, and freaked out and had to go all the way back down the stairs.
Its one of those moments, you think you can. And then you become a little kid again and want to run.
:(

Hmm.. View of water is much better than view of Dwight. However, I do believe view of Pam is much better than view of water. Makes view of Dwight bearable.
(Yes, I am just way to happy that those two are finally happy TOGETHER)

Pam, don't worry. Jim was just experienmeting with Tuna. He will always come back for Ham and Cheese.
(I however, would eat tuna all day and all night. And then realize I probably ave very stinky fish breath)

Pam! Karen is not you! She will never be you
(fictional characters never listen to me)

And then the end.
Wow.

Hehe, I loved it so much. Go Kelly. Jim did come back!

This is something else to thank WildBerryJam for. I screwed up when I got this one, somehow only bookmarking the page saying there is a warning and kids should't read it. Wasn't fun. But she sent it to me.
:D

Poor Michael. His propsal to Carol. Well... it was one of hte more awkward moments I ever saw (although I recently saw this video on youtube about a guy who tried a public proposal, and she just ran away, and you just ave to imagine its a thousand times worse when its real, not fictional)

But showing where my thoughts lie - that Jim didn't respond to the text is just about as bad. I mean, poor Pam. It was so close to the phone call in the initiaion, and she seemed so hopeful about it, but stupid jim was getting drunk off his ass!!!

He wasn't on a date Pam. I promise. He was at work. Getting drunk. Why won't Pam listen?!
But I can relate to Pam. I mean, yeah, it just gets worse and worse. You first think of the simplest explaination, and then it gets worse and then you usually think that the person is dead. Or is that just me? Oh well.

Although as much as I hate it, and your story really explains it, Pam couldn't be with Jim right after CN. I mean, she had to learn about herself at first. But then, then she was ready. And now its the right time.

Seriously, I knew it wasn't Jim at the door. I mean, I saw S3, and I am pretty sure Jim showing up at her door after Diwali didn't happen. However, my heart was racing and I wanted it to be Jim so badly. And then it was Roy. :(

S3 Roy did look good. He was trying. And that is when I really just wanted to sit him down and explain it wasn't him. It was just not right.

They kissed. :(

"Because I’m in love with someone else."
And that's all there is too it.

Change does hurt Pam. I'm not a fan of it. I don't even like when websites layouts change.

My college move was not as bad as Pam's. At least, not the initial. I found the second semester move back to be harder than the first. I think the first time, I was still so excited about what it all meant, and so was everyone else, it was great. The second semester, well, there were no more delusions.

Isn't everything easier with Jim? Moving included, obviously.

Return to the roof. I like it. Plus his long legs. I like those too.

I think that mud analogy is probably exactly what it felt like. Trying to keep moving, but barely able to move.

Jim brought bubbbles to work. So small, but so sweet. (Plus, I love bubbles. So win win)

Aww Pam. The two nights you wanted Jim to notice you - it does't go as planned. First casino night and then the merger. Aww...

(oh this is random also - but i am in love with your titles. always so great. simple and descriptive, but perfect)

"She knew now that she was in love with him" so perfect. gah. I mean, i love it, but I can't help but think how how disappointed she was.
(I think after this I may go rewatch some episodes. Because.... apparently I want more heartbreak ???)

holy crap, why couldn't think have happened. i was unable to look away from the page, i just wanted to read it all. and then my eyes started tearing up with happiness, ad wow, it was so sweet ad perfect and happy and gah!
