I just came upon this by searching old pages at TWOP and I am so glad that I did. I love how you have written the Pam and Toby dynamic. It is fantastic. I also feel like I might be a little bit in love with Toby, which is completely shocking to me. I wish I had Pams colouring book of people at the office, what a great way for her to connect with Sasha, especially considering how Pam never felt comfortable around kids. I hope that somewhere in the back of your mind you are still working on this story. Great work!

This whole story is amazing. The suspense is killing me but in a glorious way. I love how you have portrayed Pam, so hesitant, which is so true. On one hand I just want to scream at her, "it's Jim, what are you waiting for!" but on the other hand it is so realistic. I have to say that the sneeze was hilarious. I literally laughed out loud, which I hardly ever do in fics. Great, great work. Loving every word.

The first chapter was kind of soul crushing but the 2nd and 3rd chapters are slowly lifting my spirits. Please keep going with this marvelous story. Also, I was just in Paris last summer and it is so true about there being couples everywhere. We actually started a tally of all the couples we could see making out in public. I think we may have reached the high teens in less than a week. Great detail.

I was worried when I first started this that it wasn't going to have a happy ending. I was pleasantly surprised. Loved this line "She’s waiting for it when she hears the click of the handle, like it’s the safety on a gun, like it’s the grating sound of a floorboard in a horror movie, foreboding, unstoppable, inevitable. It gave me butterflies. Great work.

I can't tell you how much I am loving this story. I never really liked Ryan all that much. Plus I have always been a huge Jam fan, but now you have turned my Office fandom world upside down. I can't believe that I am actually rooting for Pam/Ryan now. I have even sought out other fics looking for that pairing now. (Although, no disresect to other writers, but I prefer yours.) But I still want Jim and Pam to be together, oh the turmoil! Hee. Thinking about this story also made me find and reread the Improper Bostonian with B.J. on the cover. I have a newfound respect for his hotness.

Thank you for opening my eyes to the glory that is B.J. Novak and for constantly updating this dawesome story.

One other thing that I love is that you made Karen likeable and relateable. Kudos!

uurrrggghh. I am so torn. I don't want her to abandon Ryan because I have kind of fallen in love with the Ryan that you write. That was heartbreaking and beautiful. I loved this line "She thinks about what that girl would think of who she has become." It reminded me of a scene in Take Your Daughter to Work Day when Pam said she wanted to be an artist when she grew up and then the girl pointed out that she was a grown up. (I can't remember exactly what happened). Loved the history of her and Roy.

This was AWESOME and so sad and angsty and hot. I think I gasped out loud with this line

“I guess I’m just not one of those people who can instantly get over someone that I loved. I don’t expect you to understand that.” In my head i was shouting "Go PAM!", except then you made me feel sorry for Jim right after that.
