Part of the 2025 Holiday Fic Challenge. This is set around season 5, pre- marriage and babies. Assume this is an alternative reality to Moroccan Christmas.
Bizarrely my received requests were similar to last years’, but I’ve had a bash at doing something different for this year. Apologies if you read my story from last year and I’ve inadvertently recycled any of it (I’ve purposely not re-read it in preparation to keep this year’s “fresh”.)
Also apologies that some of my centred dividers didn't, erm, centre, despite trying to correct them with HMTL. I've tried to use Americanisms wherever possible, but you will see British English spellings for the most part and I will not apologise for that.
Takes place inside/after The Negotiation..pretty much AU after that, but pulls in themes from Beach Games.

100% there will be good stuff as we go...hence the spicy warnings...but in the beginning, it is going to be BUMPY.
In the beginning, each chapter will switch POV, and it will most certainly be Jim/Pam POV, with minimal potential for others. Then the chapters will be longer and shared POV.

Set during the events of Season 3 Episode 18, 'Phyllis's Wedding', Jim and Pam's friendship (or is it more?) is hanging by a thread, and her attempt to gain some distance results in an interaction with the Scranton Strangler that sets off a chain reaction of events.
It's 2022 and Pam has found herself in square one of the relationship game: single. Or, square two: single and ready to mingle. Lonely and ready to move on, Pam finds herself seeking companionship while she's away from home - just not a full-on relationship so soon after her previous one.
Oh what's that, a new match?
"What have you guys been talking about?" Pam asked as she followed Penny and Jim over to reception, trying to sound casual.
"Oh, she's told me all your deepest, darkest secrets," Jim grinned.
I have had a BILLION ideas for AU Jim & Pam fics ever since I watched my original run through of the office. I finally decided to sit down and start writing as I have enjoyed a TON of fics on this site. I espically love s2 and s3 AU fics that have a unique twist as a way to get the Jam Fam together. I love Disney World and thought that s2 Jim and Pam could use some magic at the most magical place on earth ;)
