That was so wonderful...best was that you made the whole day about the two of them. This reminded me of my own wedding day even though I had minor emergencies throughout. The best part, of course, was the time spent with my husband - from waking up together on our wedding day to the quiet moments during the day. You really captured that intimacy quite well.

“I would marry you in liquid hot magma, Pam. This is serious stuff, stop laughing.”

This is my favorite line. I love how you can bring the fun in even in the serious moment.

This is the most beautiful Jim and Pam proposal and wedding story.  I think I've read it 10 times and it still makes me tingle.

Thank you!

You are still the only person who can write fluff in a way that makes you sniffle a little, at the same time.

There are so many, many things I adored about this, but to detail them would be to quote everything, and you know what you wrote. This paragraph, though?
And she has to find new places for his laughter to go so she pushes it behind her ribcage, behind her eyes, somewhere between her heart and her stomach.
Absolutely beautiful.

I loved everything else, too, of course: especially the bits in her room: the way he comes into her room for the first time, the way she puts away that picture of Roy in her drawer [something about that strikes me: she's maybe never been here since she called off the wedding, and I don't know why, but I like that.], the way he just rushes into her and kisses her, because it's nothing too original but the way you've written it and the fact that it's Jim and it's Pam just changes everything, and God.
The wedding itself was gorgeous, especially the way she kisses him before he's been told to, especially since you can always see that Jim loves her to bits [the way he brushes the hair out of her face], but the way this was written from her point of view adds this little feeling that makes me smile so wide, because they're fictional, but so happy. Oh.
And the reception was great, too, although I would kill to see what Dwight would've said to extend congratulations. =P Michael's line, by the way? Killer.

Yeah, OK, so I was aiming for a short review but this became a random blubbery mess; you reduce me to that, I'm afraid, so you've brought it upon yourself!

Thanks for writing this. Chases nightmares of Phyllis' Wedding away. ;)

That's so freaking beautiful I can't stand it!!!!! OMG I just loved that so much. I can't really express how much. ::sigh:: just beautiful

That was just so beautiful and sweet andperfect for them.  I wish I had more developed thoughts about it all but I don't.  It just touched me.

Do you think we'll ever get here? It seems so far away right now. Lovely, as usual- you make it tantalizingly real.

This was so beautiful, unfold. The impromptu proposal seems just like them, and the small wedding... wow, just wonderful!

You do such a beautiful job with them, of making me get that feeling in my chest as if I'm the one who's going to burst with happiness, and not just Jim and Pam. And I'm not just talking about the sweet happiness of the wedding either (which was one of the sweetest weddings I've ever read), but even their quiet time in the first section, and the morning of their wedding when they woke up together, so intimate and sweet with each other. It makes me almost cry.

His laughter gets trapped beneath her skin and between the bedroom walls and in the corners of the ceiling- everywhere.

I always love the way you use words, unfold. Amazing. This was so sweet and warm and happy. Thanks for sharing it with us.

This was so sweet. I loved Jim saying he'd marry her in a volcano and her saying she'd marry him on a glacier.  So cute and cuddly.

Fluff of the finest variety.  So like them.  So like I imagine.

OF COURSE.  Pam wouldn't.  Sigh.  Love them.  Love you for writing them like this.  Just...LOVE.

You can feel the warmth and the love and the heat and everything good and lovely practically *radiating* off the screen, and I love that; I'm supposed to be working on getting population statistics for Singapore and this is the perfect way to lift my mood [lighten it, if you will; MichaelJoke!].

I especially adore the bits without the speech, the little descriptive parts that get you into the mood of the story right away. I adore that the way he proposes is while they're feeling that strange energy that comes before complete exhaustion [which is a freaking perfect description, by the way], the way it just slips, like he means it fully but he was brimming over and it just spills from the top, you know, like his happiness reached a saturation point and all he could do was leave the rest of the happiness out for her to feel...oh, what a lousy description.

He smiles that smile that makes her want to cry because she never thought she could make someone this happy: absolutely lovely. I love that you've gotten that feeling across; not just Jim and Pam but JimandPam in that one sentence, how it's like they bounce off each other and they're all they really need. Perfect.

Volcano! Glacier! Oh, JimandPam. Please get together before I smack your heads together.

That last sentence sets a tone, too; I like that it's like a finish, but there's a bit of a beginning, too, and traces of a something-in-between, too, which is brilliant. And it's this feeling of something caught between freedom and satisfaction, and it makes me feel so warm I could burst.

Perfect and gorgeous and all sorts of brilliant. Something I'm probably going to read three more times after these first four times. I'm going to be late for my lecture.
