This was an excellent chapter. It's funny how Larissa sounds like Jim. Really great.

This captures his mood perfectly, I think! This comment:
you mean when I was still a junior-level salesman after 5 years, making half as much money, driving a used magenta Corolla, and having practically no personal life because I was desperately infatuated with an engaged woman?
is the best description of S3 Jim not wanting to be the pathetic guy anymore. Love it and I love Larissa! Stay on him, sister!

Ohh, these last two chapters feel so sad and real. Pam just being so... resigned to her fate, and her mom not knowing what to say to make her see... And Jim's sister calling him out on his odd behavior since Stamford, YES! This could be what pushes him along to the "I feel like I've never really...come back" realization.

It never ceases to amaze me how you are able to convey so much in these little episodes.

Aww, I'm with Larissa on this, but I totally get where Jim is coming from. Looking forward to the next part.

That was better than the real Phyllis's Wedding episode.

pout... I hate that episode. It's right up there with The Merger in grief-bone-pounding. Nice chapter, though.

ladama, you are absolutely amazing. I just started reading this series the other day and I'm blown away by you're talent. I always knew you were a wiz with the fanvids but you've equalled that talent with fanfic. Thank you for keeping us Office Jammers satisfied and smiling in season but especially during the hiatus. Angsty times for Jim and Pam right now but that's real.

Today's my birthday, and I haven't been on here in a while so it was a really great surprise when there were a bunch of new chapters. I love this story soo much! i look forward to the new chapters every day.

for a while my tea tasted like pencils and hot sauce
Awwwwww. So cute! And I love Jim telling her she's "all set" with her flare gun. *smort*

These continue to be great- very in-tune with what we actually saw on screen, and how so often between eps there seems to be a re-set so that they can be on an even keel again. Nice progression.

"Aw, they're finding their way back to each other, what could go wrong now? Oh, yeah . . ."lol. That's hilarious. I love these stories but, yup... the storm is coming...

Oh, Pam. Ouch. I got really sad reading that. There's no wonder why she goes back to Roy. I'm looking forward to see how you handle the rest of the season. Did you know there's an awkward Jim/Pam deleted scene from Cocktails?
Author's Response: there is? i'm writing that chapter right now and having a world of trouble with it, so a description of that scene would be appreciated...any other new insight the dvds have to offer is welcolm too, don't worry about spoiling me. though maybe message me rather than posting for those who haven't gotten that far on the dvds ;-)

Man, I love this one. I love how you fill in the blanks of what might have happened on each show. Thank you so much.

Oh wow. Thanks for coming up with a great explanation as to Why the mechanics of this operation might have needed Pam.

I think this one is my favorite so far. It seems very much in line with the way you would expect Jim and Pam to handle what was going on. The Jamaican Jan photo would probably be the one thing they could banter about most easily in this episode even with the storm cloud of karen moving in so close to jim looming above.

You're doing such a good job. I really enjoy reading these.

Excellent. I like how you brought in a few elements from the show, and how Jim says just email it to me. She's clearly a little disappointed by that, but we know that Jim doesn't want Karen to see any 'visiting Pam' action! Very clever.

Oh, Jim, trying to make both Pam and Karen happy. Somehow I don't think it's going to work! This was a perfect place to have them IM!

Yay for TS deleted scenes/NewPeat!! "I was hoping that wasn't her new look" Yikes.

Great job with this chapter. You may have had trouble with it, but you really made it work.

I've been reading this story right along and I have to tell you it helps fill in a lot of blanks. You've got the tone of the characters and it has the sound of their conversations. Thank you for the story. I check for updates every morning........

Hah. Jim's keeping his distance. Poor guy feels like he's being watched, which he is.

It works. I like how he noticed her being missing the day before.
