Okay, I love this for the reference to a truly iconic commercial, but this is also a terrific take on Jim's inner monologue. Really enjoy the voice you've given him here!

Freaking love this!
They way you wrote this from jims perspective was like jim in the raw… so honest and stripped.
This line on Karen… “He likes her a lot, she's fun. He likes her. Even if he doesn't, he should, so he does, and it's as simple as that.” Brilliant. But I love how none of this was about her because none of it was and raw, honest, stripped jim would know that.

Oh, wow. I know I'm late to the review party for this one, but I just found it and couldn't let it go by without saying how amazing it was. Your narrative was spot-on, and you made the entire thing flow like it was straight out of the character's brain. Seriously, wow.

How I missed this little gem before, I have no idea. But I love it. Love the writing style, and your depiction of Jim's thoughts feels spot on. I love it.

This is seriously one of the best in-Jim's-head pieces I've ever seen. Too many awesome lines even to pick out to quote. "world's shittiest subtle observer" love that. Great, stellar, fantastic job!!

wow! Wham bam thank you ma'am on the ENTIRE SHOW right here :) I love it. Jim doesn't get angry enough sometimes...

That was awesome. You really got into Jim's head, into the stuff that we don't see on camera. Even the profanity sounded more like how a guy would talk to himself than we usually see. Very well done! --Strider

Oh, fuck, was this brilliant or brilliant? I loved the way you've written Jim - not a wuss like people tend to write him, but raw, desperate, despite all that he feels. Goodness. Moments of this made me laugh, moments of this made me bite my lip, moments of this make me want to cry, and moments of this make me want to do all at once - perfect Office, perfect Jim, and, in fact - perfect all-around. I loved this so much, you have no idea. I am adding this to my favourites right now.
I worship this kind of story - fast but thorough, and it makes me feel [TWSS]. And I enjoyed reading every bit of it.
Also, this was very hot.

P.S. In my exuberance in getting all the crazy thoughts swirling around in my head to make it to my keyboard, I forgot to mention this, which I absolutely love: Everyone knows something happened, and it seems like they are jumping to conclusions far beyond what actually went down. And some of their conclusions involve going down. In the breakroom, on Dwight's desk, on every desk in the office. Of course the office gossip mill would be working overtime! I guess it never really dawned on me before. Duh.

MAN, did I LOVE this! I found it refreshing that Jim didn't just melt into a puddle of tears and die like the puss that he is portrayed to be at times. He was angry, frantic, passionate, desperate, breathless...and funny, too--all those good adjectives. "Hey, you're the one who led them to the bat cave, man. Don't blame this on me." Love it. Excellent job. Can't wait to read it again.

Wow! I just LOVE this. You go so quickly through so much time and your voice in Jim's head is just perfect.
My absolute favorite, laugh-out-loud part was this:
He doesn't want to be posessive, but this is his brain, he's allowed to be posessive in his own damn brain. And in his brain, Pam runs all potential boyfriends through his intense screening process, during which he decapitates all of them. And then Pam goes to sleep and there are fifteen guard dogs and Dwight guarding her door. And he's finally thought of the perfect career for Dwight, so...bonus.

This is really crazy good. Like, insanely good. Here are some of my fav bits:
"So he kisses her, he has nothing to lose.?He loses."
"At some point, he forgot how to be by himself. He needs his buddy to tell shit to. Even if nothing else."?
"A month after the merger, he realizes that he can't remember what it's like to not live a complete lie. No, no, really, Pam is my best friend! Karen is amazing! Pam and I are totally friends again!"?

Mmm. That was so great. I loved the glimpse inside Jim's head, and how he acknowledged his hate for Roy. And, of course, the sex was great. Hee!
Really enjoyed the story. Really, really.
