I'm not gonna lie, I really, really liked this. I love JAM and I will forever be happy they ended together, but the part of me that hurt alongside Jim before and after Casino Night is glad to see him getting a happy ending even without Pam.

I mean...I just...it is so lovely and I was all into it and then -- blindsided. But it is still lovely and heartbreaking and sad and a little bittersweet, knowing how the series ends but also realizing how it COULD have been.

I noticed that when you categorized this story you put nothing under "warnings". I would like to respectfully request that should you write another story like this that you give it a warning such as "Caution: Breaking Hearts Ahead" or "Warning - hopes and dreams crushed ahead". (j/k). This was an awesome story - I do love that Jim is so happy. I do, sniff sniff.

OK, I realised about halfway through The Coup that I basically want Jim to be happy and smile that adorable smile of his, and whoever can do that should be with him, so...I guess I like this fic. I really do. Hmm.
But the Jamness in me really, really hates you. So there.
I like it, though. Definitely not what I was expecting. Plus there was happy!Jim, which makes me feel happy, so there's the plus side.
But now you need some sort of Jam fic to make it up to us!

Oof, you killed me with the PamAngst! Oh, that last line was like an arrow to the heart - the jinx reference and then the mental image of her crumpling up her list made me want to cry. *sniff*
But yay for HappyInLoveJim! I need him to have that unequivocal love and happiness! I loved their giddiness during the wedding, and especially saying "So much" together.
Loved the list theme, loved the story (even if the PamAngst did kill me). You are never not awesome, Shan!
