All of those reactions of the staff as so true and Dwight's is so disturbing, I really did shudder at the thought.

Marching bobbleheads - now that is strange. And rather creepy. Definitly ruins the mood.

:D

Author's Response: LOL!  But at least they battled them together.  That's something right????

The idea of crossing Angela scares me. I do NOT think it would be a good idea.

"In many ways having him back was worse than not having him at all." Poor Pam. I can buy that.

Dunder Mifflin Parties - less fun than you can imagine - and you don't even have to know why you are celebrating.

I lost an earring a few days ago. It wasn't an earring I liked, but it was one of my few gold color ones. So that kind of sucked.

I hate the feeling (even when completly unjustified) that people are laughing at you.

That is just like the worlds most awful dream. Poor Pam. I thought the last one was bad, but this one... :(

Author's Response: OK - maybe worse before it gets better.  But you trust me...right???  :)

Because I am just looking for good fic, I am again breaking my no-moderate-sexual-content rule. Because I have an hour to kill, and its either fanfic or homework, and lets face it, is there even a choice?

I have weird office related dreams also. In fact, I have even started having office fanfic related dreams. i need help.

My mom took a dream interpretation class. She said it was a bunch of boohockey. Well, technically, no she didn't. but she didn't totally buy into it. Personally, I am scared of analyzying my dreams. What does it mean when the kid you are babysitting for turns into a one of those monkeys that preforms on the street corners? (true dream).

Haha, I love the dream with the vending machine upside down, at least the start... I haven't finished the dream yet.
Yeah it took a strange turn and not a happy turn either.

Poor Pam. :(

Author's Response: Poor Pam.  I suspect she did have a lot of restless nights at the beginning.  But you'll see.  It gets better.

That's how I feel about zombies, too.  Eep!  But it was a lovely shout-out to Tim and Dawn being in Shaun of the Dead!

I love Dream!Jim's list of the reactions of their various co-workers; it was spot on.  And it was a very real transition from hot dream to nightmare.  Just so sudden and vague.  And awwwww, she woke up next to him.  Yay!

Author's Response:

Thanks belsum!!  I can't take credit for the Tim and Dawn shout-out. I've never seen Shaun of the Dead!  It was more poking fun of Jenna's real life love of zombies - and Pam's inability to distinguish between 28 Days and 28 Days Later.

But I'm glad you liked it.  This was by far my favorite chapter to write.

I have a new favorite bit everytime I read this (which is several times now).  Right now it's the whole idea of dream Jim wanting to reason with the wave of bobbleheads.

Author's Response:

What?  You don't think that would work?   Thanks so much for reading....and re-reading and for all your ideas.

Without you Zombie Dwight would have been only half as terrifying. :)

Oh man...I totally lost it when you wrote in the Dwight zombie bobbleheads. That was great. :) The whole story was great!

Author's Response: hee!  It's quite a disturbing image  I know.   So glad you liked it!

You know how I feel about zombies.

I said this before, but that is one of the greatest lines ever in a fic.

Funny, great visual image of the bobbleheads, sleepy and sexy at the end...recipe for perfect fluff. Very therapeutic. I think this dream was my fave, and not just because of the smooching (though that didn't hurt!)

Author's Response:

LOL!  Thank you!  It was my favorite as well.  The others were difficult to write but this one just appeared like magic.  So much easier to write them happy.

I hope TPTB get that memo.

"More, Pam."  Jim whispered. And that's what HE said! LOL

Kelly, Kelly, Kelly....Jinx? Really? Oh wait, it was only a dream. Or was it! Looking forward to more!

Author's Response:

It was only a dream.  Trust me.

Hee, zombie Dwight bobbleheads would scare me, too! Very, very cute. Ahhh, fluff.

Author's Response: Meeeeeeeee too.   I don't think I'm ever going to look at the one on my desk the same way again.  Thanks lis!

Well, well done!  I could read this chapter over and over and over again.....  Ha, actually I have!  And I will do so again - I love your Jim/Pam fluff - that's why I'm always trying to find a reason to get you to write more of it!!!

Nicely done, my dear!

Author's Response: LOL!  I'm so glad you liked it.  Not unhappy to see this one go though - as you are aware!  Thanks again!

Desk. Of. Love.  A lovely offering to the patron saint of Jam-nooky.  Just what I needed.

Author's Response: You are most welcome Ms. lisahoo.  Most welcome.

fluff is definately in order and you delivered. i love it. it's just so funny and sweet all at the same time. i mean, zombie bobble heads? what goes on inside pam's head? haha anyway, it's great, good job :)

Author's Response: She's got some wacky dreams that Pam.  :)  Thanks so much for the review!

Wow.  That one wasn't just weird, it was intense.  I love that Pam was in costume; she is not being herself and she's only just starting to learn how to be herself.  Angela is a great device, too, and not just because she's a bit of a cat lady!  I really liked this one.

Author's Response: So glad.  More to come soon - and it's a little different.  I think it's more what you're used to.  :) Thank you so much for the review!

Ooh nice!  I love that it was a dream that finally gave her the strength to break off the wedding!  All sorts of interesting imagery.  But who's Steve?  Is that the guy that Michael Scott had to fire way back at the beginning of the series?  Or just some random dream person?

Author's Response: LOL!  Steve is the vending machine guy.  Jim mentions him when he plays the prank on Dwight in Booze Cruise.   You're not the first person to question me on this.   I'm glad you liked it in any event.  More to come soon.

Wonderful premise and you have me desperate for more.  Can't wait to see what she says to Jim!!

Author's Response:

Hmmm.  You might not see what she says....but I promise you'll see the results.  Sound good?

Thanks so much for the review.  Stay tuned!

Wow, this dream was almost hallucinogenic. Like a surreal mix of so many elements/scenes from the show that I could really see morphing into a nightmare for Pam, given her anxiety. Especially the awful sound of that laughter, and feeling like it's aimed at her, compounded with her own inability to speak. Yikes. Very apt.

I also like how you ended it by implying, rather than spelling out, their conversation. I can't wait for Pam to go back to sleep, so I can hear her next dream!

Author's Response:

I once had a dream where I was standing next to Ronald Reagan on line to ride a roller coaster called The Big Orange Arrow.   What does that mean?   I'm really scared to find out - but the point is dreams are freaky things.

She'll be sleeping again this weekend.  I just wonder if she'll be waking up alone.

We shall see. ;)

i love how you keep both of these chapters in the dream world by ending with her finally speaking, but we don't know what she says. It is quite obviously implied, but the point of the story is the dream that incites a reaction. i really love this. can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: I've written those conversations so many times before.  I wanted this time to be about what caused her to move - rather than what she said when she finally did.   Know what I mean?  I guess you do - because that's basically what you just said.  LOL!  Anyway - I'm so very glad you liked it.   People have been quiet in regards to feedback on this one and I was worried I was way off base.   I'm happy to know you got it!

I don't know whether it's the juxtaposition of images or what, but the dream descriptions are just totally awesome.  Really.  I can feel the sense of panic Pam would be feeling when she was having them.

And Angela was perfect.  And hysterical.

I just wish I'd heard what Pam finally said to Jim!!!!! (tease!)

Author's Response:

She said, "Listen you stupid schmuck.  I know I said the wrong thing last May but I was about to get married for God's sake.  And then you came back with the pantsuit queen so what was I gonna do??   Moron.   Even Roy knows we belong together.  How's that for irony??   Now.  Hop to it and flash me, Paper Boy.  I've seriously been waiting for eons to see the goods."

Was that what you expected?  No?  LOL!

Jinx is totally a Top Model name..."

Okay, that line just totally cracked me up. (Though, I'm a little scared by how well you channel Kelly here!) You already know I think this is a great premise for a story - and unlike any I've seen before.

"More, Pam."  Jim whispered. "Not less."

Pretty much sums it up, alright. And I love the last line. THAT is the pivotal moment in Ms. Beesly's story, when she finally speaks.  Keep dreaming, my friend...

Author's Response:

I confess - Kelly and I have much in common.  Addiction to all things entertainment related being one.

Thank you for being such an enabler. ;)

Aiiii!!!  And that's when she should have packed an overnight bag and drove immediately to Stamford.  But who listens to me??

Looking forward to 2 and 3!!

Author's Response:

LOL!  How I wish she would have - but even FNB moves at a snail's pace.

Soon!!!
