I quite frequently check this fic after rewatching a S1-S3 episode - any chance you'd ever want to extend it further into the series?

Author's Response: I have thought about it actually and I think have have a couple chat snippets somewhere in all my half-written drafts. Maybe a sequel will happen someday... thanks for reading!

if i haven't said it enough - i really think these are catpuring both their voices and how they would be reacting to the various episodes very well.

Dwight Dwight Dwight. I am just sitting here shaking my head. Dwight.

Niiice.  I like to think they had this sort of resolution after all the awkwardness of The Fight.

Author's Response: Thanks, some of these conversations make be feel a little better about some episodes too.

you're making this relationship even better than it already was...

jimhalpert: sorry today was weird

pambeesly: no

pambeesly: I overreacted

Author's Response: Well, she did. Like Beeswax said, if Jim Halpert grabs you from behind, you go with it ;) Thanks for commenting!

This whole idea is so cute.... I hope you do all episodes.  Season three will be interesting.  Great banter.

Author's Response: I'm planning on it. But enjoy these cute chapters now because like the show, S3 is probably gonna be angst city.

i just read the whole series and it's amazing.  You really capture the playful nature and emotional undertones of Pam.  They excel at saying so much with few words and so do you!  Keep the chapters coming!

Author's Response: You don't know what this means coming from the JAM psychological expert :) Thank you.

Yay to the reference to Dwight's weapons! Heh. And I love that they were honest and understanding in working out their dispute, and that Jim turned it around into light-hearted joking :)

Author's Response: It always kind of bothered my how they ended things in that episode, but I would think Jim would do something like that, not dwell and try to make a joke.

Dwight and his Desk of Doom!  Nice!  Glad to see Jim get to make his apology finally.  And vice versa.

Thank you for making Pam apologize for that overreaction.  It should be a rule for all females (married, engaged or single) that if Jim Halpert grabs you from behind, you do not over-react.  Just stand there and enjoy it.

Thanks ladama!

Author's Response: Yes, definitely should be a rule ;) Thanks for reading, it felt good to make Pam apologize.

I really liked this, even if I don't know if Pam would be so honest and open with Jim about why she got freaked out and stopped playing with him. I wish she would, but I kinda suspect that she wouldn't be so forward to say that it may look as though she and Jim were doing something wrong, because admitting that may mean they are doing something wrong, which means admitting more... I don't know if that makes any sense, just a thought.
But nonetheless, I really like that they were so easily able to bounce back into friendly (and flirty) banter, which is very them.
Fun stuff. Thanks!

Author's Response: I do agree with you, and I actually had a hard time writing that exchange. Pam wouldn't want to admit anything was wrong because that would have gotten dangerously close to Pam admitting she has feelings for Jim and/or that she knows Jim had feelings for her. But my reasoning for what she said was that I think people in general feel bolder on IM, and Jim wasn't right there in the office, he was at home. I also would like to think Pam realized ignoring Jim for the rest of the day was a little unreasonable (and an overreaction). Is this response long enough yet? ;) Thanks for reading.
