Loved these last two, though the thought of Roy needing to use the computer made me immediately think it was to download porn to take with him to the poconos. ;-)
Hope things are going well for you in Japan!! Wishing you home internet, pronto!!
Author's Response:
Ha, but let's not forget Pam said she only skied "a little" (ew, don't wanna think about it).
I can at least now hook up my computer to the school internet, so that's an improvement over getting error messages in Japanese, bah!

Aww, how cute. Pam had missed Jim. And something about her saying, "...you look like you really need a jelly bean" is so cute. I love the ending. heee.

I hope the Japanese gods hear your prayers.
Loved this part:
pambeesly: well, I haven't talked to you all week, plus you look like you need a jelly bean
jimhalpert: hmm, maybe I do
pambeesly: so maybe you should come get one
jimhalpert: maybe I will
pambeesly: :-)
Author's Response: hehe, I love that part too

oh this chapter was so so sad! I wanna cry for poor Jim-Bag.

WOW. Those last few lines changed this from a light, easy read (which is good) to a powerful piece of work. Good job. But poor Jim :(
Author's Response: Thank you very much

Awwwww! Break my heart, why don't you!
Author's Response: Hey, it broke my own heart to write it. Ugh, these kids.

oh ouch... Jim!!! Like talking to a dial tone.

Oh Jim... the things we say when noone can hear us... sigh.

Oh, break my heart, why don't you! Another great job of tapping into the Season 2 angst. I wonder if Roy really needed to use the computer or Pam just didn't want to hear what Jim had to honestly say. Great job as usual.
Author's Response:
Ah, well, I guess it's left up to your interpretation then . . .

That ending make me gasp. Oh Jim!!!
Perfect.

No need to explain, I totally got it, and sighed. Another great one! We're getting close!

The end of this chapter just shattered my heart. I love this series so much.
Author's Response: So you love getting your heart shattered? hehe, thanks

Oh, ladama... this was a heart-breaking chapter. Heh... I hope you are having a good time in Japan.
Gambatte ne!
Author's Response:
I'm having a pretty good time, but I also haven't offically started working yet, so we'll see.

What's wrong with Japanese computers? Us uninformed people want to know.
Author's Response: It's not really the computers as much as it is the keyboards. The punctuation arrangment is all wacky. I have to press shift-2 to get quotations marks, shift-7 to get an apostrophy, and if I press the wrong key it will just start typing in Japanese. Oh, and the space bar is about a 3rd of the sixe since Japanese doesn't really have spaces. Gah!

I think all of our hearts broke for him on that Booze Cruise.
You've done a great job of capturing heartbreak through IMing!
Author's Response: Yeah, I can't watch that episode without my heart breaking for Jim, even more than Casino Night . . . Thanks for your comments :-)

Pam didn't know that The Rainbow Connection was coming her way.
Hope you're enjoying Japan!
Author's Response:
No, I don't think she could have even imagined someone like Andy at this point.

Oh, Jim is so good at lightening the mood with a joke. And I am glad that Pam expressed her feelings for Jim and thanked him... even if it pales in comparison to Jim's feelings/declaration of Casino Night (which I am looking forward to reading your addition to!).
Author's Response: Yes, I feel the need for Pam to give Jim a little more to go on in these messages. I don't know how the Casino Night chapter is going to quite yet . . .

I love all talk of pranks, and this is fun and fitting, and slightly flirty. Nice job.
Author's Response: I'm partial to the slightly flirty as well. Thanks.

YOU'RE BACK! Yay! And the plot thickens. I loved how Jim's answers in the Booze Cruise chapter seemed a little clipped, like you can tell he's still hurting pretty badly. And I also liked how Pam didn't spill the beans on Dwangela even though she totally could have! Hope you can post again soon :-)
Author's Response:
Yeah, poor Jim. He's trying to keep things humorous but I don't he could have helped but act hurt the day after the Booze Cruise. I'm looking forward to when Pam and Jim figure out that the other one knows about Dwangela, hehe.

Aww. And this is why Jim was drowning, because she would give him just enough to keep him in the water, but not enough to let him float.
Author's Response: Yep, she always gave him just enough to keep his hope alive.

Hmm. Something old and romantic like "Roman Holiday"? These vignettes continue to make me nostalgic for the old episodes, and excited for what is new!

"Office Olympics" has always been one of my favorites, but recent events make it even more special.
