"He’s constantly coming up with new ways to show you he loves you, that he’s thinking about you, that he’s so genuinely happy to be with you".

This was such a beautiful story. So romantic. I just love their love for each other. This is going right into my favorites to re-read sometime.

Author's Response: Thanks, kaystar!!! I love their love for each other too!

Catie9, this was so well done.  It's such a quiet little fanfic, and the ending isn't so much an ending as it is a beginning.  It actually made me sigh with contentment!  I'm going to bookmark it to reread a few days from now, because this is one I know I'll want to revisit!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! It's great to hear from you, and I'm glad you enjoyed this!

Oh, Catie, this is just gorgeous.  I stealth-read this at work yesterday and didn't have time to leave a review, but it brought tears to my eyes.  It's strange - you made me feel so happy for Pam in a whole new way.  Falling in love like this - where the mundane turns sublime - is just the best thing in the world.  I love the idea of her thinking she's fallen as far as she can go and then falling deeper.  The last paragraph is just...::sigh::

Author's Response: Sweetpea!!! You are just the best! Your review made my day. I just started a new job today, and I've been stressed...but to come home to this is just great! And yes, you definitely know it's love when the mundane turns sublime. And I have no doubt that Jim and Pam are totally reveling in the everyday things (like sitting on the couch watching a movie, holding hands) because they were forbidden before. Anyway, thanks again!!!

oh that's perfect. So sweet and so real.  I can absolutely imagine their relationship falling together like this and just pulling Pam deeper and deeper.  He had me at those post-it notes in her lunch! I too find myself SO inspired by Ingrid Michaelson, btw!  I think I've written to stories inspired solely by her lyrics and of course Jim and Pam. lol. Great stuff here!

Author's Response: Thanks so much, LoveFool!! Ingrid Michaelson is great, agreed! Part of me just wants to hide her away in a little box so that she stops becoming so damn popular...but I've grown and realize that that is both petulant and selfish. So I'll use her as inspiration instead. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story, it was a lot of fun to write!

This was really lovely. I love the second-person narrative of this. It almost is a more intimate way to look at things than even a first person view. Well done on that.

And there's a real sweetness underlying all this, too. Little glimpses in Pam's memories of silly notes, of silly looks, and silly little moments which really aren't so silly.

Excellent work! I hope you keep writing!

Author's Response: You know, it's interesting you say that about second-person being more intimate, because I definitely felt that way as an author afterwords. And I tried writing this in third-person with a Pam-centric perspective, and it just wasn't working for me. I just couldn't figure out how to get to the core of what I wanted to portray, and for whatever reason, I decided to try it this way! And I'm glad I did! rnrnAlso, I think that Jim and Pam would revel in the "silliness" of such moments even now. I think they both know that they aren't so silly, and they both know they know, but it's almost like a shared language between them. It's something they hold dear because for so long it was the only way they could communicate, and even now they still shield these moments from the rest of the world so that they only really exist with the two of them, before reality intrudes. rnrnI'm glad you liked this! Thanks, Cousin Mose, and I'll definitely keep writing!

Oh, this is absolutely gorgeous. And just.. wow. Amazing, amazing job especially in a format that I'm not usually a big fan of. Beautiful.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the nice words! Yeah, it took a minute to get used to the format, and it's never been something I've particularly liked before...But now, I'm not so sure. It was an interesting perspective for me to take, and I kinda liked it!

This was incredible. The last paragraph almost killed me. seriously. all of your stories are perfect so i must insist that you write whenever possible! lol

Author's Response: Thanks, ISB. And oh, no! I don't want to kill you...but I'll take that in the Michael Scott Pam almost broke her neck so I almost killed kind of way. Er, in a possitive way. Anywho, thanks for the positive words, and I've been bitten by the writing bug, so I'm not going anywhere!

I recced this before reviewing, because I wanted everyone to read this. The post-it notes on the yogurts were wonderful. This entire story was such a moving, emotional peek into the growth of their love since May. Thanks, and now I'll patiently wait for more smut from you. ;)

Author's Response: Thanks, EBH! I just figured that Jim might be the kind of guy to be sweetly, irresistably dorky in the "I'm going to leave notes in her lunch just because I can" kind of way. AS for the smut...well, Chapter Five of "Challenge" is about half way done! Thanks again!

Ok, I can't really add anything.  But I do love how vividly you paint the picture of how utterly, totally in love with Jim she is, and vice-versa.  Just when you think she can't love him more deeply, she finds a shovel.

Oh, and perfection is in the imperfections -- wabi-sabi and all that, you know.

Author's Response: Ah, lisahoo, you're such a great reviewer! I get pumped every time I see that you've left a little comment! Like I said below, I think it's interesting to take their relationship from Pam's point of view, because I think she's seriously head over heels, can't live without you, in love with Jim. I mean, I know that it's easy to just say well...yeah, of course, who wouldn't be...but Pam's character, specifically in reference to her relationship with Jim, is one that's really intrigued me lately. Because I believe that she's the kind of person who when the walls come down, they come alllllll the way down. And I think that having that freedom with Jim is something fascinating and unbelievable and scary and simply amazing for her. Yay, lisahoo!

This is gorgeous.  Such an intimate look into Pam's thoughts and lovely details to the relationship we all want to see more of (damn strike!).  Thoroughly enjoyed this.

Author's Response: I know. The damn strike is seriously killing me. I mean, I need my Jim and Pam fix, and while I can get it from the first three seasons, it's just not the same now that they're together for REAL. Anyway, thanks bitterpill, for the kind words! And I did specifically want to write this from Pam's perspective, because I feel like her view on things tends to get slightly more obscured than Jim's does. Perhap's I'll tackle something similar from Jim's POV someday...

It's really lovely, Catie9.  I'm going to favorite this so I find it easily.  Your descriptions of her feelings and how Jim acts toward her are really worth looking at more than once.  So nice.

Author's Response: Yay! A favorite! That's awesome, TLK! I'm really glad you feel that this is worth taking a second look at. I wanted to make it clear and subtle at the same time (thanks, Ryan), so I hope that came across!

Not usually a fan of the second peson format, but this is tremendous.  The characteization is somehow just perfect; the vision you depict here feels just right to me.  I like the overall impression you give of slightly imperfect happiness and the little details too, like Jim butchering the laundry folding.  Excellent work.

Author's Response: I do think that Jim and Pam are smart enough (and hell, have been *through* enough) to recognize that perfect love doesn't exist...Loving someone because of (and not in spite of) their odd imperfections (such as terrible laundry folding abilities) is where it's at. And your review made my day because that's exactly what I was trying to hint at! Thanks, brokenloon!
