10 So I found this through the handy archive of featured stories at the MTT boards and I'm so ashamed I'd never read this before. Because, seriously, might be the greatest thing ever written. I just.. wow.. perfection. So utterly good and I just.. yeah. I love this so much. And I need to stop babbling but this was SO GOOD. I wish I had more words to properly articulate this awesomeness but suffice to say, it is awesome. Clearly.

10 Ok, so I stumbled upon this little gem in my desperate attempt to find something new to read, and I was not disappointed by this.
This was really great. I love the voices you gave Jim, and especially Sasha. She's a smart cookie, isn't she? Reminds me so much of my own niece.. maybe that's why I liked her so much. ;) In any case, she was adorable.
What a unique idea. I really, really enjoyed this and I'll definitely be adding it to my favorites.
Role Reversal Challenge: It's May 2006. Jim's wedding is approaching and a lovelorn Pam can't take much more. Starts during Casino Night (or an AU version of it).
10 I squealed a little when I saw in my e-mail that there was an update to this. And it did not disappoint. Lovely job as always, ladama. I am anxiously awaiting Pam and Jim's reunion and to see where it all goes. I trust that it'll be good in your hands. :)

Author's Response: What actually inspired this story was a question I saw on a message board that asked if people would cheer for a woman pining away for years for an engaged man the same way people cheered for Jim in season 2, so I'm happy to read that you are rooting for the single Pam in my story here. 10 This story is dark and weird but I love it. I really mean that in the best way possible. I applaud you for having the guts to write something that is so completely different from anything in this fandom, and to do it so well. Kudos.
I've had this in my favorites for awhile and occassionally reread it. It suddenly hit me to let you know that; as creepy as it may sound. Heh. But seriously, it's really.. original and wonderful and I love that I can read the epilogue and know who the TH belongs to, in theory. Thanks for writing a really beautiful piece.

Andy has always been one of my favorite characters, and I've never seen any stories that feature him so I'm really excited about this. What a great start and I can't wait to read more!

I was having a crappy evening and I read this and it really cheered me up. I'm a sucker for a well-written story, and you have certainly done that.

She grinned widely at him before sitting back in her chair. [Spoilers up to and including Drug Testing for part one. Part two and beyond set in an AU-version of season 4.]Interesting, indeed. Great, great story. I really enjoyed it.
After being dumped by Jim, Karen tries to take back control of her life... by kidnapping Jim! What nefarious plans does Karen have in store for him? Can Pam rescue Jim before Karen makes him a castrati? Why is Dwight obsessed with semen? All this and more inside! You'd think that maybe it'd be more of a crime drama than anything else, but I'm voting for the anything else.
And how come there's no option for Genres:Twisted? I'd use that.
10 I was going to say the world needs more Alex Werts' but I'm not exactly sure that's true because you're probably secretly crazy and have a few bodies in your basement. But that's okay because it means that you can create genius work such as this. So, yes. The world needs more Alex Werts'.

I've been reading this since the second chapter, but didn't really know how to tell you how much I applaud you for writing something that is so out of the norm and to do it so gracefully. (I really loved the sudden Jim/Roy friendship and the Dwight prank!) Well, I guess I could have just said that.. but.. I digress.
Anyway.. I'll stop babbling but I just wanted to say that I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take this. Awesome job.
4 This is something that I could truly see Pam doing, and as much as I worship the Jim/Pam love, I think if it DID happen, it'd be better for them both in the end.

It was REALLY difficult not to give into temptation and have them end up together, but I agree - at the very least, this ending is a huge victory for Pam, and a much-needed kick in the pants for Jim. Thank you!
