I really love the way you're not painting Karen with a terrible brush; you were great to her in the beginning, and even here, you're protecting the fact that she's not ALL bad.

As much as I really really love the way the season actually ended and all, this is such a really fantastic go at a way that could have actually salvaged the Karen character for me, and restored some of the integrity they had going with honesty. This is FANTASTICALLY DONE! Great job. (And I'm not even done....)

It's almost painful, how perfect this is.
Jim's life for years revolved around wanting something he could not have. What happens when Jim finally gets everything he ever wanted? Takes place the Monday after "The Job." Jim is with Pam. Karen returns to Scranton.
You know... this is really perfect, actually. I think we all (many of us, okay) want to see/read/know about the happiest of JAM stories, but you are ON to something here, and for the first time, I DO feel really bad for Karen.
Words I NEVER thought I'd write.
Please continue and give us/them a way to fix this so my JAM is good!!
Ok, seriously? Please keep going. You have a wonderful touch with them, and the way you DON'T have a heavy hand at weaving in some of the cannon is a much-needed thing in these stories.
And we have months to go. MONTHS.
This is so good! And exactly, kind of, the way I hope they are addressing this... That was a big thing, for her, and for all the ways that she has to beat herself up about him watching her and Roy all that time, that was huge for her, and needs to be acknowledged.
