Author's Response: Thanks! I had the idea after I wrote the prologue; I knew I wanted him to give her some kind of memento, and it just fit perfectly. I wrote it quickly at work today, and forgot the last sentence for about 5 minutes, so I had to go back and fix that. It was silly, because that sentence was the first one I had thought of! \r\nThanks for the review!

Just one thing threw me a little. Dwight starts with "number 1" then goes on to "number two." I don't know, I guess I watched too much Star Trek: Next Gen or something but I thought the "number two" was referring to the person of Pam or Jim. I kept rereading it thinking he was addressing Jim with number two and Pam with number three. Maybe it's just me. Probably it's just me. But I think I would've been less confused if you'd stuck with either arabic or spelled out numbers.
