Perfect slightly-awkward-at-the-door moment and how I love, love, love Pam combing her hands through Jim's hair. I like the "game of eye contact tag" because we've all been there and I could picture it exactly. And the kiss! Sigh

Beautiful! I'm as anxious as the next girl to see some real passion between these two, but the hand-holding is just...ahhhh. I think this is just what Pam would be thinking.
Author's Response: Thanks, sweetpea! Little gestures are so important between these two because they always wanted to be closer for so long. They had to avoid touching each other in previous seasons, so now, hand holding can say so much. :)
For a minute longer than he should, he'd continue to stare at her and wonder when it was they lost each other.
This is just so tender and so lovely. It's hard for me to imagine them fighting, but every relationship starts blissfully, and it doesn't always stay that way. I love that you've tied it up with them reaffirming their feelings. This sentence made my heart stop for a second, it's so heartfelt:
"...why spend it on anger and fear and sadness when he knows that he's a better person for all the happiness she's given him."
50 Squirrel Redux! I got a big ole grin on my face just reading the title (which is awesome!) and settled in for a good read and reentry into this world. Love the PMs and I can't wait to see what poor Jim will be forced to endure!

This basically wrote itself -- not something I intended. I think it's my first ever non Jim/Pam story. But it's about them. :-)

Remember when Jim and Pam convinced Dwight that a CIA helicopter would pick him up on the roof? Well, neither of them could resist showing up that night to see the prank to it's conclusion.
Very fun chapter! It's great to go back to these moments now that we know we have real live fluff to watch! Can't wait for more.

Yeah, I was watching SportsCenter and your mom came in wearing a pair of my basketball shorts and an extra large Dunder Mifflin t-shirt—Which, wow, so irresistible—and nine months later there you were.
made me laugh out loud and the ending is perfect! Jim warms up to the idea and, ahem, rises to the occasion when Pam lays odds on the outcome. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Oh, this was so great! Your Dwight is perfect, as are Jim and Pam. I can really see this scene perfectly and I love the similarities between Jim and Dwight's situations. I'd love to read more chapters about how Dwight puts Jim's advice into practice. Loved it.
Now that you have the first one done...you have to keep going! Give the people what they want!
Montage Mountain? I'm speechless, so this review can't do any kind of justice, but I've got to say how perfect this is. Just perfect.
Okay, I'm back. I've read this about six times now and it's still making me deliriously happy. The whole scene is the epitome of "show, don't tell" and it's so masterfully done. I love the model train image, Jim wondering what she's going to do with all of his smiles, that he wasted her first roll of film, that Pam has her shoes off in the car. I can see the picture of him with his eyes closed and a big grin on his face. It's all beautiful.
My take on how Jim and Pam first meet. Should be two or three chapters. It's my first story, so I want to start off slow and go from there.
Uh oh. Our boy's just about to be smacked in the face with The Roy Factor! And he hasn't even had a chance to talk to Pam yet! Congrats on your first story, Darb! I loved both of these chapters - there's a very nice rhythm in your writing and I like Mark and Jim's exchange very much. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Three things I believe: They love each other. Dunder Mifflin would wear Jim down without Pam there. Parenting ain't easy. This story follows from those three premises.
This is just wonderfully real and touching. I love how they're both worried about each other and what they might be thinking. You really captured Jim's reticence to talk to Pam in just the right way.

What if Jim had finally been stretched to the breaking point before Casino Night?I had to go back and reread from the beginning. Just amazing.
If ever there was a conversation I wanted to see, it's this one. Man oh man, this was good.
“You KNEW! You KNEW and you—and you LIKED IT!”
So many times I wanted Jim to call Pam out just like this.
I can barely breathe. “I will not let you go if I have you," I hiss. "Ever. Do you understand me?”
TUNA! Are you kidding me? This is ridiculously hot.
I can’t look away, and my whole body slowly swivels the chair towards her like the needle in a compass.
Just one of my favorite lines in this chapter. I don't think I took a breath during the whole thing! So good.
What if Pam refused to let Angela drop her off at home after the Dundies?
“I want to go to Jim’s,” Pam said, interrupting Angela’s thoughts.
Angela felt as though her head might pop off and land in one of her cup holders. Would the depravity of this night never end?
The world needs more stories like this, Itellyouwhut. I love everything about this - the tension, the romance,the heartache, the the banter - you do it all in this chapter and you do it beautifully.

I'm speechless. I thought my own heart was going to come out of my chest when Jim was holding her cell phone. That whole scene played out perfectly - having a conversation with Roy while Jim was right there. Love your writing, love the picture!!!, love the whole thing and I can't wait to read more.

Oh my God, this is fabulous! I always wondered about that car ride home and now I don't have to wonder anymore! The goggles were hysterical and I can't imagine a more perfect Angela.
