10 I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN, OH MY GOD. Seriously, as a fellow music nerd I completely understand how extra dreamy it makes him just thinking that he's that way, too. Have you seen the Jim Halpert itunes playlist? He totally is. He loves Neutral Milk Hotel!
And you win at life with the Final Fantasy reference. Owen Pallett does no wrong.
While the music lover in me wants to prattle on about Elliott Smith, I must tell you how much I enjoy your writing, little indie nuggets aside. It really is wonderful. The way you write is kind of subtle and just... well-crafted. I love Jim sneaking a peak at the ladies' room, and getting uncomfortable with it. I love the creepy hipsters. I love the second one, and Jim throwing up in the flowers, though it did break my heart.
All of the little details you add are simply amazing. The nailpolish that looks like the inside of a seashell? Perfect. It's all so good. I want you to write more!
Well, the DVDs have given us all a wealth of new inspiration....so here's my being undisciplined and giving in. :o) Right now, I'm planning to cover Jim's talking head in "The Client," the Sasha story, Jim visiting the BB online from the Pochonos, and I'd also like to revisit "The Secret" in light of some of what JK said on the commentary. Squee!

Spoilerish for various S2 DVD deleted scenes. Their first date was a date that...wasn't. Eventually though they finally got the hang of it.
10 And thus begins both a beautiful friendship and a relationship that rips my heart out weekly. This was awesome.
While I was watching all of the deleted scenes I got so excited in anticipation of the new stories that would be created. I was definitely praying for some from you, so yay!
10 What... I'm just... It's... there are no words. I sort of want to say, "what the fuck?" I sort of want to tell you that I'm grossed out. I sort of want to say that I'm amused. Part of me wants to not like this, because, ew. But your writing is just so good that I can't help but like it, and oh my god, it's so sad and gross and odd. But it's... awesome.
If I was a man I think I'd never have erections again.
12 10 One was great. Two had me cheering out loud. Three made me actually kind of sad. (The thought of Roy leaving Pam only sounds good for the reason that they would no longer be together, but I feel myself hating her for getting the easy way out, for being a coward right to the very end. And I feel like Jim shouldn't be a consolation prize, even though she would be happier with him.) Four is such a great portrait of a subtle yet jarring realization, almost too casual for something so big, but how things usually happen. Five is my absolute favorite. Because of the kissing, and the bravery, and the love in every line of dialogue. But especially because Pam isn't only taking one chance, but two, with her career. Perfect.
I loved that you went at this possibility from every angle, even the on that isn't so happy-making. Amazing job.
10 Shit. That was a fucking great line at the end, there. And I don't usually curse so much, especially in reviews, but wow. I just love that so much; I don't know why. And how perfect that he calls her his girlfriend, once again. This story is amazing.
Just one question. Is Jim supposed to be leaving for Australia on the same day as the wedding? Because he should be leaving two days before the wedding. Maybe I'm misreading, but it threw me off a little. Even if the dates are a little off, this is fantastic. Really. I haven't read anything quite like it before, and your style of writing is wonderful. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
8 A little strange seeing Jim so dominant and less jokey, but I certainly don't hate it. I just have to say, since I don't think anyone else has mentioned it, the detail with him pulling out to prevent pregnancy is spot-on for the time. Such a great detail, right there.

This is a little story that takes place a few weeks after 'Casino Night'. It mostly concerns Pam, and contains alot of inner dialogue. Michael has engineered an 'Inspiration Poster' using a photo of Pam, and now she has to deal with fallout. It does bring her to a realization though...
10 No! You can't stop there! This is so good. I've never read anything quite like this before, and the premise is completely perfect and suits the show amazingly well. Wonderful.

10 Man, I loved everything about this. There are so many great things that you did here. Like with the aloe, before you even mentioned Jim at all and she imagines Roy teasing her in a way that just screams Jim. So lovely, the way that she was wishing for him unconsciously, before she was actively thinking about him. Also, how you painted the comfort in Roy, the normalcy, and how she yearned for it to be new again. I really felt the ache of wanting more, instead of staying stagnant. So amazing.
Toby smiled. His daughter was clearly a genius.
8 Hahaha, oh my god. Very funny and original. And I ADORE Toby, so even better. My favorite parts were Oscar/Jack not coming out (of the box) and Meredith who should lose her bottle. So, so hysterical.
And holy nostalgia when you mentioned Teddy Ruxpin! He was a little creepy. Mine sang songs and moved, so even more weird. Great job with this.
10 This is probably my favorite version of this moment so far. Honestly, it's so in character and beautiful. The scene made me cry and so did this.

That was my favorite line. So Jim, to cut that thought off right there. We've seen him do that a few times on the show, just shake himself out of it. Loved this.
Jim leaves town, determined to get his mind off Pam and start over again. Meanwhile, Pam finds herself questioning her decision to get married.

10 Eesh. Never been a fan of slash, but you always write it so beautifully and you make it believable somehow. I love that you don't just go, "Forget all of the heterosexual things they've ever mentioned, they're gay!"
You make it about desperation and sadness and just wanting to find solace in someone. I don't like slash, but I like this a lot. Wonderful job.
A fluffy bit of silliness. Inspired by two challanges: Injury and Rain. It's not really tied to any particular episode, but I feel it takes place not long before 'Casino Night'.
