10 i have to say that the x-files reference at the beginning got me way too excited about the possibility of mulder-esq angst! and the story did not disapoint! i loved this! i mean, i love fluff as much as the next person, but total angst, whew, i can't even explain! ok, i'll stop rambling now. you're amazing, this story was amazing, angst is amazing. thanks for sharing!

Spoilers up the The Job. 10 You've just combined my 2 favourite things in the entire world! Wicked meets the office! This was really well done, I really enjoyed it. 10 Fact: This story was amazing. And Perfect. Seriously, this chapter was so well written (as were the past ones lol). I got a little scared with "Jim and Pam's first fight". So thank you for resolving that quickly, and moving on to a fluffy sweet moment, haha. And the ending, all i can say is: niiiiiice
The town mouse and the country mouse. Jim/Pam, Jim/Pam/Ryan.8 I have to admit, the premise of this made me nervous. But I read through it, and really enjoyed it! Definate AU material, but a very interesting idea. I think we're going to see more on the show about Pam being the one who wants to pursue the bug city life. Ok, i'll stop the rambling! Nive story, very sweet ending! Oh, and the walk of shame... yeah... lol

I really like the subtle comparison of Jim to Fiyero though. I never realized how many similarities can be drawn between all of the characters with regards to the Pam/Jim/Karen triangle. Pam and Elphaba as the quiet, shy, ones who are too scared to express how they feel. Jim and Fiyero yearning over the girl they thought they lost, and settling for Karen/Glinda. Very cool!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review! I always thought that Jim was a lot like Fieryo, he never had a care in the world until he met Pam, same as Fieryo with Elphaba. He tried going with another girl, no matter how stupid he was to lead her on, like Galinda, and in the end, Karen became a manager, a bigger job, while Galinda became Glinda the good. I loved the comparisons and I'm glad to see someone else saw them as well!
Jim, Pam, and Jim's brother Jon are visiting New York when something happens. Something that nobody would ever expect..

10 This is funny. I've just spent my last 2 days at work reading "Away from the cameras" (its been very slow, and it was the perfect solution) and I loved it. Then I get home and see that you've posted a new story! This one was wonderful. Although after reading all 30something chapters of the other story within a 2 day timespan I think I desperately need a break from the angst. The ending here made up for it though! hehe

I must tell you that it's really, really thrilling to get a review from someone who recently read Away From the Cameras -- I'd really worried about pulling from that particular chapter. I didn't want it to come off as lazy or simply unnecessary -- but the truth is that as soon as I saw that scene (with Jim's confession about not being able to sleep or taste food...!?!), I thought of the uber-angsty chapter I'd written for "Conflict Resolution" and was so tempted to mine that, sort of bring it into the present season.
That said -- must extend my apologies for your having read Away From the Cameras in two days...!?! It was the second full-length fic I wrote, and yeah, I just wallowed in the angst and definitely pushed the boundaries of reality with regard to the sexual tension. :o) But I have to say that writing it was so much fun -- got me totally addicted.
But I digress: Thank god you felt like the current story made up for the angst in "Conflict Resolution," because honestly..... :o)
