That was great--they've needed to have that talk for a long time. It's amazing how people can misunderstand each other, and you wrote it really well.

I'm glad Jim didn't cheat (although making out kind of blurs the line!), and I'm so glad they're finally together!

I have always wanted to do a story of this song! It's so heartbreaking. I hope we find out more about how they could have let it come to this. They belong together!

Author's Response: It is probably the most heartbreaking song I\'ve heard in a really long time. And from the first time I heard it I had to write a story for it. Everytime I heard it more of the story formed so I just started typing...\r\n\r\nI hope you like it!

It's hard to be in that situation; poor Pam. But I'm glad you gave her some hope for the future and a way to use her talent.

Author's Response: I think this show blends the bitter with the sweet- so I couldn't leave her totally hopeless! But yeah, I think it would be hard, but also maybe a more realistic hurdle for them to overcome than any relationship issues at this point. I hope I'm not wrong about that! Author's Response: Yep, there\'s a taxi ride home. (Pam suggested it when Jim brought up the fact that he couldn\'t get drunk because he drove them there.) And they did have a full meal before they started drinking, so I\'m figuring it would take quite a few to get her as wasted as I wanted her to be by the end. Thanks for your review!

Awesome! I love to see what people do with challenges, and this was so much fun! Poor Toby, nothing ever works out quite right for him does it? I really loved your detail about Jim moving to Pam's side...a natural move, but it does suggest that he hasn't forgotten about Toby laying his hand on Pam's knee!
