This is why I love them. They're not all heart-shaped boxes and love notes, nor are they completely unromantic either. They straddle this line between the unrealistic-too-far-to-feel right and the platonic-boy-girl-one-sided-crush perfectly. It's just love and laughs and quiet and pranks and all in a great ball of wonder to watch every week.

So raw, so right, all night, all right, oh yeah.

Author's Response: That was a brilliant summation of the Jim/Pam dynamic there, exactly how I see them.\r\nThanks for reviewing!

This was absolutely SPOT-ON for every character. I could hear them as a talking head, which gets confusing with the "what actually happened" part of my brain, but in a very good way. So many quotes to copy them all.

Author's Response:

Thanks, quotidianzenith!  I guess any of these things could have happened last Tuesday, since it was in between episodes, and we didn't end up saying anything that was refuted on Thursday.   Plus, you liked it, so win/win/win. ;)

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!  Swedge and I have been pleasantly surprised at the response.

I obviously keep thinking about how this will go down, and I am definitely leaning toward private, simple, with a touch of mischievous Jim.

I adore your image of the proposal. It's cute, but not cutesy, it has a creative touch with the end line, Pam is happy, which is a must, really, and it left me satisfied and smiling. :)

Great job!

I love all the little snippits into Jim and Pam's life. The first was plain adorable. Hiding under desks is just immature enough to be cool.

But the proposal? Amazing. With the romance and humor that is ever present with those two. I have read some wild proposals that are out of character, but this was perfect.

I really loved this. Oh, my supportive Jim and my fluffy couple... This is completely how I see it playing out; and I don't think Jim would be worried about a move because honestly, he could easily find a job in New York, especially being close to David Wallace.

Loved the throw-back to "Boys and Girls" and your use of quotes.

Author's Response: B&G was a little underrated, no? Thanks for the review!

Absolutely breathtaking, gorgeous look at Pam's thought. The flow, and diction is flawless, and even if it's a little exaggerated for me, the way you put it into words was perfect.

Author's Response: Oh my, that kind of praise can go to a girl\'s head. I\'ll take it, though! Thanks!

So cute to tie in real life occurrences with the show. ♥ Really loved this, lovely piece! And it also explains Jim's "we took this slow" line to Michael [which I really loved him more for].

Author's Response: welllll i'll tell you where it started, all of this hullaballoo about writing angela kinsey's pregnancy into the show.  i started thinking about other things, john's haircut for instance.  but jenna's back stuff was not written in, in part b/c she was doing well enough that it didn't have to be included - but it made me think.  plus it had adorable, jim as nursemaid implications.  oh i love that part too.  sometimes jim can be very kind to michael; i love those moments.  thanks for the feedback!

Ooh, loved this. I really hope it gets explained how Dwight and Angela came to be where they were at the end of the finale because right now it's a little too out of character for me. There are a lot of scenarios that could make it very in-character.

Author's Response: Thank you. And, yeah, I\'m also curious to what sort of conversation or weird look or whatever led up to the tag scene. I hope it gets explained.

I love this story so much. And it doesn't make my heart hurt. And Pam is so supportive even though it's Dunder-Mifflin. And I love this couple more than words.

Author's Response: Haha, I love that you love my story. And I really didn\'t want to make anyone\'s heart hurt...I like the idea of Jim-and-Pam in a normal relationship after years of heart-hurting. \r\n\r\nThank you so much reviewing! It absolutely makes my day :D.

Really, really lovely.

she repeated until it became an abstract sound, like a musical note. Like joy.

Oh, sigh.

But still, she was telling him yes.

I love their relationship and their ability to communicate without words in so many ways, both before and after getting together.

Great job at describing both relationships.

Author's Response: Yeah, they've always had that intuitive communication - so glad if that  to come through here. And also that both relationships rang true for you - ironically, the seed of this piece was the Roy scene, not the Jim one. Thanks so much quotidianzenith!

I love this series so much. Favorite of the post-season four Pam in New York stories. Everything is just a breathy sigh and gentle caress, even the angst.

Author's Response: Aw, shucks. Your favorite? Thanks. I\'m trying not to be too angsty, as I fear that there will be plenty of that to go around come fall. Glad you\'re enjoying it.

This was wonderous to read.

kissing him like casual and Sunday mornings and hi honey I’m home.

issing him with sunlight bleeding red through her eyelids and that steady hum in her belly is indescribably comfortable. New yet known, like summer; the slip of the seasons from frost to hazy is a worn path of circular motion but each year it seems like she’s never experienced it before.

So cute. So true.

. It's love and it's sex and it's her best friend all crammed into a space that feels very, very tight at the moment. He's everything and she's not sure that saying this, at the end of seven little days, when she's just barely accepted the reality of it herself, is really what she should do.

This killed me.

I would like to think they waited a little bit before having sex. Knowning Jim was sexing up Karen the night before [or even that morning] would put me off of sleeping with him that day, if I was Pam.

I love their progression throughout this piece. I think it is very true to them - a little faster than normal, a little awkward and feeling around, a lot of talking around subjects.

Loved it.

Author's Response: That, and, speaking from personal experience, making the move from being someone\'s friend to sleeping with them is a little weird, no matter how badly you might want to do it. Also, Jim\'s clearly bringing a lot of baggage into this arrangement. So, yeah, awkward and rushed. Thank you so much for your feedback, quotidian.
