Eeee!! This is so amazing! I love that when she's with Roy, she has this desparate need to feel warm, and then when Jim is comforting her, she does feel warm, and he feels warm.
This story totally made me cry in the best way. Pam's pain is just so tangible, and I love how she finally lets it all out when she's with Jim. so beautiful!

Eek!  I still have squee-attacks when readers tell me they get teary -- you have no idea the kind of compliment that is to me!  So I'm sorry you were sad, but squee!  So flattering.  

As far as the warm thing goes, it wasn't entirely intentional as I was writing it, but I have this thing about being cold, and it really just came out in the story in a way that worked.  Glad you (noticed! and) liked it.

I don't know if I've reviewed at all, but I'm loving this story, and this chapter hit me hard because of the cat dying. It reminded me of when my cat died a few years ago. He was 17 years old, and I'd had him since I was 5. But with him, we were kind of expecting it, because he was old and had been sick for a while. But it was SO SAD, and my brother had to pick up his body from where he died in our basement, and we all buried the cat in the back yard together. And it was even more sad because my dad couldn't be there because he works for the power company, and it was the same day as the big East Coast Blackout. lol sorry for the personal story, but that's why the cat burial part made me cry. :o(

Thanks for your review! I think the main reason that I had to add Lindie dying is because we just recently lost our beloved gray kitty. He just died. We dont know what happened to him. He was playing with one of our other kittens ten seconds before he just laid down and died. Very unexpected. I don't think I have ever cried that much for a cat before, and I felt like it was a way for me to write about it and remember my cat....so, thanks for your review and I'm deeply sorry for the loss of your cat.

The most recent two chapters were really sweet. One thing, though- you used apostrophes a lot when they weren't needed. Like in the chapter before this, you said "Halpert's and Beasley's" but the apostrophes are not needed because you're making it plural, not possessive.
