This whole thing was really fun to read, and the last chapter hit just a little too close to home. We took my older son to college last August, and you definitely got the scene right.
Of course, as others have already pointed out, you have captured the Jim/Pam awkward "dance" so well. But in addition, this sentence made me laugh way too long: "He could hear Ryan just around the corner in the living room, so drunk that he was talking politics with Dwight" Now that's drunk. Beautifully written.
I still enjoy this show a lot, but it would be so much better if they would just hire you to write for them. This is exactly what the finale needed.

This rings so true, and is so very believeable and lovely. Perfect characterization, clean, descriptive writing. I love it. And I laughed out loud at this, because I'm twelve:

Set just after "Diwali."Not only is this beautifully written, it's one of the best twists I've ever seen here. It made me say "yes" outloud. Can't wait for the conclusion. Loved the last line, too.

Wow, I was expecting a good followup chapter, but you've outdone yourself. I started picking out descriptions I liked, but there were too many wonderful ones - I couldn't choose. Your depictions of the senations and emotions of each of these characters in this scenario make me see and feel for them so vividly. This is darn near perfect, and the last three or four paragraphs have twisted me into a knot again with poor Jim Halpert. Argh, but in a very, very good way. Best thing I've read here in a month of Sundays. Please continue. /DKS

This is a captivating version of their first night, kells. I can see this kind of intimacy happening right away between these two. Very believeable and great steam. *grin*
My favorite part? This is hilarious and perfect at the same time: "and the feeling of bare skin on bare skin that elicits a moan from them both. He would call jinx if he was able to form a coherent sentence -"

Sorry to hear about your noggin, but it certainly hasn't done your writing any harm. This is one of my favorite things you've written - very quiet and subtle. It was totally in character, and the back and forth between Jim and Pam was so utterly believeable. I especially liked how Jim approached the subject - by distracting Pam and slipping in the question - very much like he did when he was trying to get her to go to the hospital in The Delivery. Well done!

Wow, I really really liked this one. I loved your idea of Jim heading to Scranton after they spoke, in some impulsive desperate flail, without a plan, only to not even know where she lived. I was prepared for a several tissue ending and then you gave us a lovely, sweet surprise.
The may be my favorite story of yours ever.

It was believable to me -- assuming that he came across as crazed and overwhelmed as I wanted him to be in this story -- so I'm glad it went through with readers. What a great explanation for those blushes!!! As far as I'm concerned, this is what happened.
Oh thank you. It's been a dull, grey day and this brightened up my afternoon considerably. Totally believable and in character and a very nice job capturing Jim's thought process (or at least the one I imagine for him). A nice little dip back into the days when they were insecure, but a confident Jim Halpert makes all the difference.
Filling in of episodes is some of my favorite fanfic, and these are all excellent. Apologies that I'm just getting to read and review.
The back and forth between Jim and Pam about the baby subject was perfectly timed. Thanks, can't wait for the next one.
I'm one of those people who has always been highly annoyed at Passive Pam, and this really wanted to make the smack her. So you must have done a good job. *grin*
