Argh. I usually don't read AU's at all - just not my cup of tea, and I'll admit "Pam found herself pregnant" was the thing that made me open this, because, well, it's a crazy way to put it. But now I'm going to have to stick around and see how she "found herself" that way. You have me hooked. Welcome.

I especially like your "drunk!Pam" voice And this made me laugh outloud because it is so very in character I could really hear Pam saying it: I'm grunting now, like some kind of sex... person Let's hear it for unvanilla.
Takes place shortly after TLM. Michael shares his vision for the sequel with Jim. It involves considerably less wardrobe than the original...and possibly 'a dance of forbidden love.' Forgive me.
What fun - this was epic, colette. And this line was beyond brilliant and ever so Michael:

I really enjoyed this, because not only is it well written, it's exactly how I imagined Karen would react in these situations. In some ways she brought this on herself, but she was without a doubt, collateral damage. Thanks for articulating her POV.

Why do I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster and we've just completed the gear grinding, slow ride to the top of the structure and there's that pause as you cross the threshold of the peak...
My favorite part, because I could hear Jim saying this so very clearly:
“I really am a monk these days,” he says. “You have no idea. It’s probably for the best if you just forget it. I’ve had an unbelievably crap year; if you said something truly dirty, it would probably stop my heart.” He takes another sip of wine. “Don’t let that trouble you, of course.”
This was worth waiting for.
Humina Humina!!! Very nice. Jim opening the door part of the way, but holding some info back. And then Pam taking the lead. Also, I am in love with this line:
"It is like pulling apart a magnet to move a step away from her, but he does it."
I liked your Michael story - very believeable and sweet. You said:" I wasn't sure if there was something a little awkward about Pam breastfeeding while talking to Michael on the phone",
Awkward humor is what The Office is made for. It was completely in line, and funny.

You really have Pam's voice down in this one. I can hear her saying every word, hesitating, backtracking, unsure. Nice job.
I really like this line: "The desperation of clinging to someone that you weren’t even sure you wanted, simply to keep from drowning in the pain of missing someone else" Well put. And him trying to resist this seems spot on. Very nice body language descriptions. More, please.
