Author's Response: I know; I can't imagine the show without him. I actually cried during the scene where Pam watched his plane taking off. BUT, if he has to leave the show then I'm happy they chose the route they did. For all his cringe-worthy moments, Michael's a great person and he deserves his own chance at happiness.
