Me too. For starters I feel like you’re writing this pam a little stronger and less confused and broken than most and I really appreciate that. Sure she’s still got a lot to figure out and deal with but she’s finally going after what feels right for her, why wait when it feels so right? I’ve really enjoyed the story so far!

I absolutely love what you did with Dwight here! Specifically Dwight and Pam, I love their friendship explored and the way you created a little something there was amazing!
You absolutely should not end this now, there are so many little relationship moments we need to see yet... first time they call each other bf/gf, first time out as a couple, meeting family, first time!... and then Karen also seemed like an issue/nonissue to deal with. And if you’re able to find conflict that isn’t of the love triangle variety that could be good.
Also the holidays are always fun Halloween, Christmas, valentines and then summer break and summer holidays.
Of course it’s always up to you but I’m definitely interested in more.

Thank you! I’ve always been a huge fan of their friendship in the show so it made sense to create it here too! 

Yeah ive been thinking hard on how to incorporate Karen. I really like when she and Pam end up friends, so I might try to do that, I have an idea that could work!

Halloween will probably be my next main thing, since we’re already set in mid-October! After that, I’ll just see where the story takes me :)

I am so glad you decided to continue this, I am very much enjoying this story! It’s such a fun happy piece and the fluff is very well balanced.

And you got a good laugh out of me when I read Helene was a nurse! That image of her in her nurse costume in TLM immediately came to mind, lol!

Stranded, drunk, and truth or shots?? Yes, yes , and heck yes! I’m all over this!
The progression Pam takes from not being able to watch them kiss in the office to a morbid curiosity for way too much information is so well done. Well, the progression of the story as a whole is really great and I am very much enjoying it :)
There were a few “scenes” in particular that had me cracking up. First the radio scene just struck me as hilarious, excellent song choices. Then the bread... of course the bread! I just knew that one of you talented writers would find a way to slip that in. I just hope that once they get through the angst the bread makes a reappearance. The batteries, nice, subtle, hilarious. And then “What. The. Actual. Fuck.” So maybe I’m a little high on my muscle relaxer right now but that killed me. I laughed about as much at that as I did at the fic where Jim say “holla” which is one of my all time favorite Jim lines in fic.
Not sure I’ll actually have enough to keep me busy the next couple days while I wait for the next chapter.

After reading the summary for some reason this one told me to wait until it was complete to read all at once and I am so glad I didn’t torture myself by waiting between updates. I kept checking which chapter I was on because I didn’t want this to end, and then in the last chapter I kept checking the side scroller to see how much I had left of this to enjoy. I REALLY didn’t want this one to end. (Except I wish I had never read that part about crazy!cathy. Brain bleach please! I really thought he was just saying that to get a rise out of Pam and later was going to say he never slept with her, just couldn’t get her to leave...ew!)

Aside from the really enjoyable and believable way you wrote Jim and Pam in this universe I especially enjoy a story where karen is written in the way I feel she truly fits best… typical role of best friend with an actual personality. Thank you for that, I loved Karen and her role here.

I have to say, giving Karen an “actual personality” (GREAT way of putting it!) is one of my favorite things to do in an AU. I’m so glad you liked that. Also, I am so glad to hear you needed a brain bleach after that Cathy scenario. 😂😂 I spent a day contemplating which direction to take the Jim/Cathy thing and the Pam/Danny thing. Ultimately I think (I hope?) it worked, but I think Pam probably wants a bit of a brain bleach from that as well. 🙂 Thank you again for taking the time to read this and review it.

I really liked this. Certainly not bad!fic. It wasn’t difficult to figure out which character belonged to which drabble.
The first and last we’re more ambiguous and though I feel each have a character that fits just a little more, they could surely leave the reader a bit unsure. And honestly I wasn’t entirely sure if the ambiguity was intentional or not but it certainly works.

Definitely not a lot of sci-fi here but I don’t think it’s weird at all (one of my favorite jam fics is a Dollhouse crossover) as long as the characterization and heart of jam are true then they can be written in almost any setting… you’ve shown that quite well with your stories here.

As for this one, very excited to read that jim will be stuck on board longer than I initially expected. Can’t wait for the awkward encounters to come... Maybe a forced job they’re forced to work on together or maybe some sort of emergency and they’re the only two there and they fix it together? I’ve enjoyed the look inside their heads these chapters but some action would be fun too.

Yeah, given the general absence of genre fiction (aside from romance and mystery) in the fanfic on this board, I'm trying to give the SF background a soft landing; there will probably be more action, though still not a ton of action, in the upcoming segments. I'm still more interested in the JAM aspects of their continued proximity after Casino Night than in pure space opera, but there will be more of that upcoming.

I love a more bold and honest Pam! But she must be feeling so sad and confused right now... after sending out such and honest letter and being so vulnerable only to get no response from him, and then to find out he’s not with Karen on top of it. And Jim learning so late that she isn’t married is a interesting twist. Love Karen in the friend/wing person role too, it’s a much better use of her.
Don’t worry too much about inconsistencies with the show, fanfic doesn’t have to be consistent with canon as long as continuity throughout the story itself holds true.

Wow! Comfect, I think this just might be my favorite story written by you!
The alternating days are so much fun and really gives the reader something different to look forward to.
I don’t think I’ve ever read a fic that gave me both of my favorite versions of Karen before either... hit by a truck Karen and friend to pam Karen. That was just brilliant!
I think the only thing I’m really kind of missing is the pam jim interactions, there’s just not a whole lot of it. I imagine at this point you’ve got things pretty much worked out but I was wondering if she invites jim on an adventure to spend some time with him? Or maybe call him up after she skips the cruise to chat with him a bit about their days. I figure at this point she’d want to get in a little extra time with him maybe.

Aw, thanks so much! It's a story I've been planning to tell for a really long time, so I'm really glad it's getting this warm of a reception. Being able to fit in both the optimal Karens was just a plus ;)

 The thing with JAM interactions in this story is that I don't want to rush them; I promise they're coming, but I really want Pam to get there on her own, and that means avoiding using Jim too too much as a catalyst. That said, they do talk this next chapter...

So this story is great and I especially love this chapter... their sexy flirty banter and overall fluffiness is perfect.

But this little bit right here you should just go ahead and copy/paste into its own little story because it’s perfect and I freaking love it and I would read it again and again!

“You like me scruffy, huh?” he teased softly. He'd purposely not shaved that morning, thinking of her as he set the razor back on the counter.

“Mmmm,” she murmured, so close to his lips that the vibration made him shiver, “I like you any way I can get you.”

“Beesley!” he said quietly, sounding surprised but pleased. She had no idea where this flirty Pam had been hiding, but she liked it. She nipped at his lips with hers, and he groaned, and covered her mouth with his.
