Pam calls Jim to warn him about Roy. Takes place immediately after Cocktails.WOW! That ending, with Jim and Karen, totally made my heart drop. Such a beautifully simple way of showing Jim's true emotions peeking through!

A glimpse into the instant messaging history of Jim and Pam. Written with the intention of expanding on what we see on the show, as well as to tie up some loose ends. There will be a conversation for each episode through Season 3.
This is one of my favourite stories on MTT. You did such an amazing job, capturing the perfect amount of angst, humour and sweetness. I especially love this chapter -- I've always wondered what happened after Pam finished her talking head. I really hope you continue the story into Seasons 4 & 5!
10 One of my all-time favourites on MTT. The story will probably never be finished, Pam and Jim stuck in an infinite hospital time loop, but even so it is well worth the read. A huge thanks to the author for the ever present hard work and emotional turmoil that it must have taken to write this story.

I'm loving this story! I especially love that Angela was the one to tell Jim about Pam's wedding cancellation; I actually think that totally fits into her characterization. I can't wait to see Jim's perspective on further episodes, especially when he's dating Karen in Scranton.
Author's Response: Thanks msteapot! I can't remember why or how the idea came to me, maybe because I hadn't seen any fics where it was Angela who broke the news and I thought I'd try something different! These are little passages I work on when I'm stuck on my (many numerous) longer WIPs, and yes, got a few "how am I feeling about Karen" vignettes on the way.
Love this chapter. Jim is that one character who always wears his heart on his sleeve so I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to separate himself from Pam. Deleting the message was a perfect example of that
Author's Response: Thank you msteapot! I think it has to be what he ended up doing, he obviously never replied and I doubt he just ignored it and kept it on the phone because it would have likely gnawed at him.

I actually laughed out loud reading your Dwight & Michael talking heads. You captured their voices perfectly. That last line in Michael's blurb, "I am the parent and Jim Halpert is my toddler" literally had me dying of laughter.
I even really loved Roy's talking head -- his acceptance of Jim's role in Pam's life was an interesting take on Roy that I think suits his character!
You voice the characters perfectly; I hope you continue writing for MTT!

Author's Response: you wrote this forever ago but thanks so much for the comment! I've been liking my wordy multi-chapters lately but it's fun to take on something different and poses a challenge like a short world limit. And I'm a JAMmer 4 lyfe but I do enjoy writing from Karen's POV.
This story takes place right after the events of Valentine's Day, season 2. Pam has an epiphany and realizes that the life she wants isn't necessarily the life she has now.
Disclaimer: I own nothing but my laptop and my imagination which is scary at times. Everything belongs to NBC who decided to cancel it.
This takes place during Valentine's Day and I've deiced to enter it into the 2017 Valentine's Day Writing Challenge. It's my first story here so I'm beyond excited.

This is a “what if” situation that takes place during S3E16: Business School. It begins the day before this episode, on Valentine’s Day 2007, and ends at Pam’s art show the following night. What might have happened if Pam actually married Roy on the wedding date he set on the Booze Cruise (June 10, 2006)? This fanfic finds out.
I thought you captured Pam’s character so well, it was a beautiful written piece! I’m excited to see where you take the Pam/Jim romance, since Pam is marriage. Good luck :)
Oh my god! I absolutely love this -- I actually read it over a few times. Such an amazing glimpse into the aftermath of the voicemails. And, I loved your characterization of Jim. I love that his overly active imagination twist the moments between him and Pam. I truly hope you continue writing!

Hi Moogie Man! I was surprised to read Jim as so vulgar and aggressive — I don’t really see that in his character (I don’t think his jealousy is of a violent nature). Also, surprised about Pam. I know you like to write the Pam/Jim relationship in a bit of a struggling state, but I think the love between the two is very real.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. your opinion means a lot I assume you are voting for pam to tell the truth. I still have to write the ending after the votes are in. If pam is honest, I think you will see a loving ending. if the vote goes the other way, who knows. My challenge will be to write a believable ending, even if I don't like it. By the way. I thought you should have won the valentines contest. Back to my story, my son likes my story, my girls don't. Boy/girl thing.

WOW! Shutterbug, this is your best fic yet! Such a perfect moment between them, as they're inching closer towards Jim's ultimate "I'm in love with you" speech. I think Pam and Jim always had that ability to communicate between the lines, whether it be through a gaze or banter. You really played on this, and it worked out so well.

It's tough to write that kind of communication without stepping into territory that's not very believable, but I'm really glad it worked for you! Thanks for reading and commenting!
