First of all I just want to say thank you for giving us such a gift! Seriously, I know it sounds corny but during a season that was so full of angst, you don't know how many times this story just made me smile and laugh out loud and sigh, when the show wasn't doing that. Thank you, thank you, thank you so so so much for this story. It was unique and fun and just provided so much entertainment for so many of us. This last chapter did not disappoint in any way. It was well worth the wait. Seriously...those pants alone made it a gem (along with many other things). Thanks again! I can not wait to read the sequal!!!

He’s about to hug her when the next contraction begins. She digs her nails into his biceps (red marks for a week) and he leans his forehead against hers, so she’s braced against him. Once he’s sure it’s passed, he pulls her into his arms and gently kisses her on her eyelids, on her cheek and finally, once long and deep, on her mouth.
‘Pam, you know how much I love you, right?’ he whispers against her lips. ‘I’m more in love with you right now than I’ve ever been…and that’s saying a lot.’
:::sigh::: ok....anytime a Jam baby is imminent any fic there is just potential for GOLD and you so totally nailed this moment for me. This is exactly what I would imagine it being like for them. There was something just so real about it.....just that in the middle of the night fog and the reality of the moment setting in. LOVED this so much!
In the end, it is never, never giving up.

So much to love about this chapter! What a GREAT thing that would be to happen to Pam. To find someone that she could really sort of mentor. I think it would help HER so much in becoming more secure in herself. And a glimpse into Jim's future as well. Awesome! Thanks for this story.

Just feeling at your wits end and depressed and not really needing it "fixed" just really wanting to be listened to. BUT, I can totally see Jim's side too and she absolutely had some apologizing to do as well. He was only trying to help by calling the mom who she LOVES so much! lol. Nice work! I love your take on Michael. I don't often think about Michael REALIZING his own shortcomings or being conscious enough of others to recognize his insecurity. That was great. Then of course there's Pam wanting to very bluntly do a few things with Jim...very nice!
Author's Response: Thank you. I find Michael tricky to write. I think, though, the fact that he wants so badly to connect with others, have a relationship, a family, and meets with such limited success must make it hard for him to completely delude himself.

ugh, there's something about watching these two do simple things like shop at Target and hang curtains that is just so enchanting. And Jim true to form - going out to get that DVD so he can make sure he gets the right song for their wedding. I thought it was an AWESOME call to have Roy think it was the Jewel one. Loved this.

LOOOOVE this. Seriously, I have yet to tackle Jim and Pam actually TELLING anyone about being pregnant, so this was just so wonderful. This is totally how I see it going down...Pam being nervous, Jim being over the moon about it, but sensitive to how she's feeling as well. I think my favorite part was at the end when they're in the nursery together...the house quite aside from the dish washer....just something so real about that. You really set the mood for that quiet conversation and for reality to settle in. Again, just loved it.
Author's Response: When I had the idea for this chapter I wondered what I could have them do that could make it applicable to "Spring Cleaning". It's subtle I know - but an empty room seemed to be the best solution. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
I adore Jim's "present" for Pam! So true to character for them both. I also liked that even though they're together there is still some insecurities that surface from time to time. Great chapter! Can't wait to see what you do next!
