Story formerly known as Spring Cleaning.  When he realizes she's asking him a serious question there is not even a moment’s hesitation before he answers.  “Sure.  What do you need?”  Future fluff.  Spoiler free, non-fat, as light as airy spun sugar. ;)

:::sigh::: you just made my lunch break so much more enjoyable than this Ceasar salad did. Your Janie sounds adorable by the way. Jim calling her "prettiness" made me melt. Love, love, love, this story and I'm glad you changed the name because I was thinking that "spring cleaning" might mean it can only be written in the spring...now you can continue it indefinitely...MUCH more like it! Thanks Hugs!!!

Author's Response:

Awww.   So glad to be of service.  I loved that part too.  Indefinitely huh?   Jim and Pam sitting in rocking chairs with their grandkids??

Not out of the question. ;)

::sigh:: I loved this. That line about Janie needing to shake things up a bit because her wardrobe of onesies was a little played out totally cracked me up!!! And we must be on the same wavelength -- the chapter of BabyTalk that i'm working on gets at some of the "sacrifices" Jim and Pam make for one another too.

Author's Response: Well I'm glad to hear you're writing - same wavelength or not.  Janie's cute - but I need to know what's going on in little Jilly's universe.   So very glad you liked it.  Thanks for the review.

THAT was fabulous. Seriously loved so much about it that I don't know where to start. First off anytime these two are in a confined space it's a good thing, but you just made the activities so believable. The confined space DIDN'T make her come clean right away. Instead she continued to hem and haw and they played games - SO THEM. But finally at the right moment, she TOLD HIM. AND I LOVED the idea of a 'do-over' and her telling him that way. Just GREAT. Thanks for a nice read before the work week begins...

Author's Response: Glad I could entertain, LoveFool! When I got a "confined space" request, I kind of panicked, like "another supply closet: and then they made out"? C'mon PJ, think outside the box! I kind of think, at this stage in their relationship, that the initial reaction would be discomfort and denial. And these days, I can practically hear Pam thinking "if only I could go back and do it again." So a do-over just felt like her: not quite grown up, but the best she can do for now. Thanks for commenting!

Summary:

It was a night of love and romance on the high seas. Such a pity that the Booze Cruise went up in flames and sank to the bottom of Lake Wallenpaupack.
A crossover with Gilligan's Island...because I have no shame. And I can't do justice to X-Files.

This is just priceless. Seriously...love it! Sorry it took me so long to read it! You've nailed all the voices. Especially Dwight - which is scary - but so good! Especially when he was talking about what plants were good for building huts...and he was thinking something like no that is one is AWFUL for building huts. SO FREAKING AWESOME. Pam and Jim are just adorable too -- you've totally got their playful banter down!

Summary:

He was well aware of the fact that what he was contemplating (no, planning) could result in the loss of his job; after all, the very definition of a documentary stipulated that the cameramen not alter the natural course of events or become actively involved with the subjects in any way.

Even more than that, though, he understood that to do this would be to tread a dangerous line; it was rather like playing god in some ways.

What if Jim could see what we've seen?

No spoilers, all speculation.   A oneshot.  Yes, a oneshot.  Seriously - it's finished.

Oh man...the day we watch Jim and Pam remove their microphones is the day I do a HAPPY DANCE!!! Very nice touch. This was so exciting...you could just feel the tension rising and he watched one clip after another. Loved it.

Author's Response: Heh - at this point, I'd be happy with just about any interaction between those two, but I have to admit that if they took the mics off and we couldn't hear what was going on, I'd probably tear my hair out in frustration.  :o) Thanks for reviewing (as always!) --

This story was so great and that last chapter could not have been more perfect and romantic. I loved just the imagery that the falling rain and thunder and them being all wet...just set the scene so well. Thank you so much for this story!

Author's Response:

OMG - at the risk of sounding like an irresponsible school girl: I've been devouring your Baby Talk, but haven't had the time to leave a proper review (because I'm thinking a prolonged squee wouldn't cut it).  Honestly...you've taken what could so easily be saccharine-hollowed cliche and made it real and tangible and so deliciously them.  Bravo, man (ur, woman, LOL).

Honestly - hats off to you. I'll review properly next week, when I actually have the time.  :o)

But hey - thanks for the review!

Ok...I'm gonna have to look up regicide. But I LOVED this. There was something about that opening - talking about that killer instinct that Jim was never able to conjure artificially on the basketball court until THAT day. That was great. I also loved your description of what happened in the break room. Great stuff here. Can't wait for the next chapter!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this. First off the little story Jam made up about the fruit machine being a Staples decoy was priceless. SO THEM. The entire story was just so do-able. I could so see this happening. I also especially liked the way you ended it with likening their relationship to all the messy paperwork on the floor that was going to be "worth" cleaning up. Nicely done!

Summary: Past Featured Story

Pam and Jim decide to get it out of their system...Literally. This idea just wouldn't get out of head, especially after all the fight fics, I figure there has to be another way to get rid of the sexual tension- why not actual 'casual' sex. Oh and it's going to really backfire. P.S. This is way fluffier than my usual stuff AND almost finished too. So there's that.

Look at you with the quick chapter!!! I literally squealed when I saw this! I love this story so, so much.  It's just so heartfelt, and I'm loving Pam's progression -- as slow as it might be, I feel like you're really doing it justice. It think my favorite moment was when Jim was thinking about her visiting her family...how they may not know what to do for her/they may actually know better what to do for her....ugh, that just got me in the heart. Love it....More please.

Reviewer: LoveFool Signed

Personally...I don't think it sucked so hard. I think it was really, really good.  Man, I gotta tell you -- that moment when Jim finally heard "the story" in the middle of that group, I nearly lost it too. I can't even imagine. As heartwrenching as it is, I always look forward to an installment of this.  When I saw it on the most recent page I nearly GASPED aloud! lol.  I hope the next chapter comes out soon. :-)

Author's Response: I wasn't sure how I was going to write that moment.  Sadly, it didn't come out how I wanted it to come out.  But I couldn't think of anything else.  Nonetheless, I'm happy that you enjoyed it.  Thank you for looking forward to such a sad, sad story.  I never ever would have thought that anyone would like this.  Honestly, I thought I was going to get booed off the site.  I was surprise at how welcoming you were about this.  And I've really got to know a lot of authors and their own writing.  You all are  a very warm group.  But you made my day with that review, as always!

Ok, so you know you just added to your problem right...updating just makes me want you to update again! Especially since she's opening up to Jim now! I want to see what happens now...I'm sure her continuing to open up to Jim will be cathartic for you right? Not as hard...come on....lol. You have created an addict in me with this story. So amazingly heartfelt and real. I love the way you described Pam's break down in that it wasn't about crying, but just that she couldn't talk anymore. Just couldn't summon the energy. This is so, so, so good. Please update soon.

Oh Athena, you know I adore this story. It breaks my heart every time, but you do such a wonderful job with it. It was well worth the wait. I think for me, that scene between Jim and Pam's mom was just amazing. When she recounted what happened that night....ugh. I'm glad Jim was able to let it all out with her and cry. I can't imagine what things will be like when he and Pam finally reconnect...................oh and thank God for Mrs. Beesly telling him Pam loves him!

Author's Response: Hey thanks!  That is so weird, I just reviewed your story, like, five seconds ago.  Okay, this is getting creepy. . . .
