::sigh:: so much about this I love, but for some reason I especially loved the moment when she's asleep and he's just lying there listening to her mumble things and how she unexpectedly reaches for his hand in her sleep...just the entire thing was dreamy. Loved this to bits!

There's something about the reaction that you've described here that's just so TRUE and BEAUTIFUL. The fact that a part of him would be angry, but an equally substantial part would just be PROUD of her for finally coming alive! Great.

Before I respond: Holy mother of god, woman, I took a sneak peek at the latest chapter of Baby Love (like, a cursory glance out of sheer lack of time) and realized that I started reading it back when you first posted it -- LOVE IT! I'm not caught up (obviously), but I'll be reading fanfic week after next (out of town next week, so no internet, BOO), and yours is on the list.
Okay - now...thank you so much for the review! I really don't agree with the perception of Jim as a total jerk (though I think I'm in the minority, from what I've read on the boards); I think he was devastated by what she said.
And I'm convinced we're going to get a happy ending - well, not THAT happy, hee!

seriously the best post BG story for me, yet! I loved so much about this. Jim deciding mid-interview that he'd had enough of being a pod, not putting up with any shit-talking from Karen re: Pam, but also not being completley insensitve to Karen either. Then of course the scene in the stairwell was awesome. Thank you so much for this! I've been looking for something like this since Thursday!
Inspired by the finale and the seasons that preceeded it. Enough said.

As a fellow writer, I am totally, TOTALLY ashamed to admit to reading it without reviewing (it was either read two chapters and review them or read all the updates with no review -- as a writer, I'd choose the former; as a selfish reader, I chose the latter). Seriously - I've said it before and I'll say it again: You took what could've spiraled into caricatures or hyper-emotional Hallmark portraits and made them into something so real and endearing, capturing the essence of the two characters we all love so much

What a great first date for these two! I LOVED so much that Pam gave Jim so much crap for the wine swirling. lol. I love wine, but whenever a waiter makes me do that I just feel so dumb. lol. Such a great moment there....and I also loved the fact that Jim told her about telling Karen about his feelings for her. - I don't think that's been touched in a FD fic yet...awesome!

Hee - the wine swirling always strikes me as just ridiculous. I mean, I know there's a reason for it, but seriously....LOL. Yeah, I would really like to see Jim acknowledge to Pam that he told Karen he still had feelings for her; I think it would probably shock Pam to no end.

A bit of an AU look at Jim and Pam, and a rather depressing relationship. First chapter takes place following Phyllis' wedding and then it goes from there. Does not take into account the events that take place in following episodes.
Not a happy piece of writing, I figured I'd take a different approach from the fluffier post-finale stories. I don't think there will be any fluff in this one.

Hey, I just stumbled on to this, it was very hot! I loved Mark at the end just saying um...well, you're LUCKY you and your wife are so hot for each other. Good for you -- wake up. lol. Good stuff!
Wow....man I must admit there's something to be said about a possessive Jim...pretty darn hot and pretty darn plausible with the angle you've taken here. I've never really thought about it, but you pointed out that he was more possessive than Roy in this story, and that WOULD make sense seeing as Roy never really knew what it was that he had in Pam. It's really interesting to think that Jim could actually be more of a typical "male" when it came to possessiveness.
Jim asks Pam out after his return from NYC. Will it be the perfect first date or will their nerves get the best of them?
::sigh:: Oh this was great. My two favorite lines..."going to buy some fatigues actually." SO FREAKING FUNNY. Just random enough but completely rational if you're talking to Dwight. Second favorite line, "No we're dating." WAY TO GO JIM! How dare Ryan insinuate that they're just "hooking up!" I loved this!

Oh Brokenloon I looooooooooooooove so much about what this story chose to be! OMG, seriously. This was so much more than I could have hoped for. Just REAL and touching and even very funny at times. There was a moment when I was reading so intensely and then just BROKE out in laughter...."That was really Pam? That was her? Of course it was dumbass" - quite literally nearly died laughing at that. Just the placement and timing of that thought was impeccable. GREAT WORK!

Jim has finally asked Pam out on a date. What happens now? This story follows their relationship as it develops throughout the summer, and shows how the rest of Dunder Mifflin reacts to both this and other recent changes in their lives.
Oooh this was great! What a nice way to go back and cover the territory of the art show in a really sweet way. Also I think the relationship that you've carved out between Jim and Michael is RIGHT ON. This is the way I imagine them being if Jim were really his go-to guy. There was a line Jim said to Pam...about looking forward to getting high with Creed that CRACKED ME UP! Good stuff.

I've always loved Michael/Jim scenes, from Booze Cruise to Convention to Benihana. It's always fun to explore their relationship. Everytime I watch Business School, I want Jim to show up at the art show eventhough I've already seen it. I really wanted to do something to make up for that.

LOVE the characterization of Kelly - so spot on. I especially loved that moment where Pam was like "didn't you say last week.......oh forget it." lmao. How quickly Kelly forgets. lol
Ok, so I adore this. GREAT banter. Jim saying he stayed because he was in love with Dwight was CLASSIC. And then him going to reception and having that conversation with Pam about their upcoming date - and how akward it was going to be...you just handled that perfectly. Also....GENIUS having Dwight bust them on the roof.
I was already super psyched to see that someone wanted to chronicle their journey throughout the summer...now I'm even more excited after reading the first chapter! Can't wait to see what happens during this story!
Still loving this! Jim telling Dwight he's in love with him...needing him to know - once. Perfection. Love this!
