So the first half of this is so sweet and cute and then the 2nd half is just about the hottest "first time" fic you're gonna find, all while being really true to the characters, definitely a must-read!

So I knew this fic was good as it's on pretty much every JAMfic recommendation list I've ever come across, plus I know you are talented writers, but somehow I've never actually sat down and read it until now. And now I can say the hype is real and this definitely deserves it's spot on the "essential JAMfic" list. This perfectly captures that early Jim and Pam feeling, the humor and sweetness with the angst and longing just under the surface. A decade or so later it's still fantastic.

Can't resist fics that offer alternative endings to Phyllis' Wedding, and this is great! It's only 100 or so words for every point of view but everyone's thoughts and emotions come across so clearly. Love the end, it's simple and yet we know exactly what it means.

The Bad Fanfic challenge is probably my favorite challenge ever on this site and this is still hilarious. XD

Tough subject matter but definitely a very compelling read! I have to stop here for now but this chapter has quite the cliffhanger it's very difficult to not hit next!

Wow, this hurt! Jim's comment about getting and outfit for a job interview, guh, right in the griefbone! Thanks so much for returning and completing this piece, even though it was bittersweet ending it was definitely fitting. You're not rusty at all (and at the risk of mixing metaphors, if you can find anymore JAM in that jar I'd definitely be happy ;) )

Just want to give some love to this story, definitely one of my favorite "steamy" fics. Had just enough plot to keep things interesting and then when Pam finally gets to Jim's room? Awesome.

So I know at this point it's probably not in the cards for this one to be finished, I just want to say a very sincere thank you for the 41 chapters you did write for us. The amazing characterization and attention to detail in this story truly puts it in a class of it's own! Know that even years later and even though it's not completed, this story is well-read and well-loved!

Though you did leave off with a heck of a cliffhanger at least Jim and Pam revealed their feelings to each other in this last chapter. I do want to know what's going on with Jim's mother but probably above all I want to know what was engraved in the ring!? Should you see this, even a hint would be appreciated ;)

Much as I love Jim, I appreciate that you let Karen get her say here, and that Jim recognizes that he definitely used her a bit and lead her on (it would have been nice if on the show there was *some* acknowledgement from Jim that he had been a bit of a jerk during S3, they mostly glazed over that!). But I'm also glad you don't have Jim making excuses or trying to somehow continue the relationship out of guilt or continue with his hope of breaking up with her face-to-face, it's crummy but he needed to be honest and just let it end.

So this fic came up many times in the MTT 10th anniversary survey and I decided I better read it and wow, yeah, the hype is most definitely justified! Such an amazing AU you created here, your famous! Jim and Pam are quite different from show Jim and Pam but I still believed every second of it. Love this story, will probably read it 5 more times and will definitely be putting it on all the recommendation lists. All!
