1 I know it's been a while since you posted the last chapter and you won't be continuing this story, but I wanted to tell you that I really liked it. And I caught myself thinking (and I don't know why) that my view of what was right and wrong changed. Having Jim be the fianc? and having him kiss Pam, I thought was totally horrible. Maybe because you made Lisa a non-toxic person. So yes, I got the feeling that Jim cheated on Lisa. That feeling I didn't get when Pam was the fianc?e.

I don't care if this story is about Jim and Ryan. It's perfectly written. The characters of both are nailed and I believe every word they say. Very good and funny story
It's not so much that she hates the house - she does, but it's not so much that as it is that he purchased a house without without so much as mentioning it to her beforehand. But she'll never tell him that she hates it. And she hates why she'll never tell him why.

1 I like your story. You put a twist on what we saw on TV and made it work.
What I don't like is the Pam in this story. Disloyal, ungrateful and selfish. And I don't blame Alex for that. I blame her. As if Jim didn't give up too much, and she didn't know it.

This is a touching story. I don't know I'll ever recover from reading the last few chapters, but I must tell you, despite the heartbreak, I enjoyed every word you wrote.
I was waiting for a story where someone would put Cathy in her place. And Jim and Pam have done it, so win-win.

1 I understand that life goes on, and sometimes we lack hours to perform our daily tasks, and above all, to continue with JAM stories that are no longer important in our lives. Still, I think it's okay, because even though the story is unfinished, it's one of the best I've read, and it's a real gift.

1 I'm not a big fan of Jim and Pam's stories as parents, but I have to admit that I liked this one. After all, we have all told stories to our children, setting ourselves up as princes and princesses.

1 I really like S9, because it is honest with real life and the problems we all have with our partners. Monotony and routine, third people un your life that you pay a little more attention to than you should, kids that make your life a little hell, etc. So, thank you for writing this story, I really enjoyed reading it.
Another day we'll talk about how I don't like the Jim-who-lets-Cathy-into-his-room-even-knowing-she-comes-trying-to-fuck-him, and the Jim who doesn't understand what life is all about, when in S9 he shows he cares more about his job than his family. (I was always surprised to see, how Jim comes to become Roy in his family life, and how Roy has become a romantic Jim on his wedding day -that's Pam's karma).
He was never meant to end up here, to meet her, and to have his life changed forever.

'She was so soft, and warm, and yielding, and you didn’t expect of her to hide a knife behind her back.'1 Wow, it looks like Karen's support was enough for Pam to put into words her frustration with Jim - that guy from season three that all of us women should run away from. I think he's going to have to start apologizing to both of them, so get him on his knees. I like seeing Jim sorrowing for his sins ;-).

1 wow, interesting turn of events. I was imagining some sort of misunderstanding between the two, which they would eventually work out, but not Pam running off without explanation. Good thing she has a son who cares about her. I look forward to the next meeting between Jim and Pam.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I was wondering while writing this how much of the "old Pam" should I keep and how much could've changed after more than 15 years, two kids and a divorce. But I guess the misscomunication problems would still be there, which is why she just leaves. She had been hurt before and she doesn't want to feel that again.
