wendolf, I swear, your smut is the prettiest of all the smut.  Or something.  

I can totally see them having this conversation.  You know Jim's been with at the very least a few women, but not too many, so 9 is a good number, I think.  Also, I can totally imagine Pam being a little self conscious about the fact that she hasn't been with anyone else besides Roy and Jim.  However, Pam has time and the ability to perfect her form over the past 9 years on her side, lol.  

Can't wait for more, of course.  I'm excited to learn who the other 6 are!

This is wonderful.  I mean, I always love your writing, so of course it's no surprise to me.

Where to start?  I love the quiet way she jumps into his arms and kisses him, and how she wears the ring so she can feel it on her somewhere.  

Your writing is so rich, colette.  I can read your story and feel the heat and thick air of the city in the summer.  I can picture Jim all sweaty with sleeves rolled up and sitting with a cold beer on a stoop...and for that I thank you :)

Steph I really really like this.  I love the pace of it, and you can feel Toby's sadness and just...hopelessness at times.  It's like he's sort of stumbling through trying to figure it all out and try to be happy somehow - or at least not unhappy.  I think we can all relate to that at one time or another.

This is such a beautiful story.  In fact, it's not even finished and it's already one of my favorites.  I  will admit that sometimes I have a hard time seeing Pam in New York, but the way you describe her here?  She just fits.  And it's awesome because it's still the same Pam we know and love, but you've managed to make her totally in her element here.

I love the little touches - the name of the CD mixes Jim sends her, and Pam taking Dwight's stapler on an adventure throughout the city.  I can totally see them doing these little things.

Finally, I love that you've kept them together and shown that their relationship doesn't suffer because of her being away, but instead grows stronger.

Your writing is lovely and I really enjoy it.  Welcome to MTT!

Also, I believe somewhere, at one time, Paul Lieberstein said that they decided Jim never went to Australia because he was heartbroken and he moved to Stamford.  So, you're in the clear there ;)

Haha, yes! I figure Jim would know the postcard was from her. Besides the fact that that is really the only way this story would work, I decided it would be true in real life. And so glad that the it's not worked. I seriously spent over a day working on Pam's and Jim's postcards, so, yeah, that means a lot.

And perfect, I totally didn't know/remember about Paul L talking about Australia, so so glad that it worked out. I mean, wait, I totally knew, I just added that chapter note because... um, I wanted to make people think I didn't know. Yeah, that was it ;)
