Obviously I wrote this a long time ago but it was super fun to show them in a good spot in their relationship, so they could really talk about what they'd gone through together. I was really excited to see new reviews! JAMfic was a big part of my life for a while and it is so fun to revisit it.
MEMBER'S CHOICE - Katy and Jim are still dating during Jim’s “Email Surveillance” BBQ. When Pam sees them together it lights a fire under her.1 Very funny! It's great to see an independent take on 2x09.

Jim's been acting a little strange these days.1 An entertaining journey through to the proposal. The only thing that hampered the story was the tense change. I believe this should have been kept in the past, especially because of the lengthy backstory. Other than that, I certainly found the characterisation of Pam to be accurate, showing all her flaws.
1 A great juxtaposition between the old Pam, who chickened out of opportunity, and the new Pam released by Jim Halpert and her own self-development. The dialogue was definitely in character.
Jim wasn't too thrilled about tonight. Pam wasn't too happy either. Finale spoiler if you haven't watched it.
Funny how the real proposal ended up lacking fireworks as well. Nice show that Jim can both be very controlled and also very spontaneous when it comes to Pam.
Very brief look at The Merger through The Job from Jim's POV.1 This is very good!

1 A very entertaining story. Good plot, nice tension. The only advice I would give is keeping the tenses consistent and correcting dialogue punctuation. An enjoyable climax (pun not intended) during the great Season 2 era of 'The Office'!

1 This is a great glimpse into Pam's angsty thoughts. The only drawback was the tenses: I thought things were happening now, but there was a long section of past action. I wonder whether the whole piece would have worked in the past. I definitely enjoyed Pam's increasing regrets and hope still that she will be reunited with the real Jim Halpert.
