whoa! Angry!Karen is incredibly vindictive. I love it! This was so great, with all the tension and the arguing. It was really in-character, and I genuinely think that Karen is a nice person. I'm psyched about Jim/Pam time though :)

Yes! I love the other characters--they're all different and they really add to the story. I'm glad that you've decided to add in conversation between other people and not just have it be the two of them all the time, although I did enjoy the messaging between the two of them.

I (yes, a she lol) am soo psyched that you got to use that line. Thank you thank you! That was my favorite line from the poem. But I remember my American Lit professor telling us that one day soon we're all going to be sitting at desks in cubicles saying "I should have been a pair of ragged claws scuttling across the floors of silent seas." It was an uplifting lecture, that's for sure. :)
Back to the chapter... I love the drama at the end. That Karen. Geez. I am really enjoying this whole dynamic. It's really a great idea for a story :)
I love how Pam is all fancy in the chat room. That's just great :) The more I think about it the more the chat room is just a great idea. I love how Jim gets to see the side of Pam that he never gets to see because she's too shy--great job with formulating a plot for that.
Also, if you manage to use the line "i have measured out my life with coffee spoon" I'll give you a dollar. Or at least a high-five ;)

I love this entire conversation between Jim and Pam. I'm kinda bummed that he's pretending to be someone else, but when they end up together I won't care anymore (they end up together right? you're not going to do this whole "haha suckers, it's a Karen/Jim story after all" thing? lol).

Author's Response: I agree he hasn't done right by Karen. It's realistic though; I think even good epople become very self absorbed when they're hurting, and that is what happene to Jim.

This story is so great, and it's definitely on its own level of stories that take the group out of the office. Everything about it is interesting and real (from Angela sneaking onto the boat to Ryan maybe being not such a stuck-up jackass). I love this. Good job!

Pam and Jim decide to get it out of their system...Literally. This idea just wouldn't get out of head, especially after all the fight fics, I figure there has to be another way to get rid of the sexual tension- why not actual 'casual' sex. Oh and it's going to really backfire. P.S. This is way fluffier than my usual stuff AND almost finished too. So there's that.
