These are fabulous. Your style is lovely- very matter-of-fact, but yet somehow capturing the depth of the sadness under the surface of Jim. "but he has people skills if nothing else" is one of the best summations of Jim's character that I've seen. Really excellent.

It's amazing how Jim says nothing in the whole second half of this, and yet his pain is howling at us, almost deafening. Pam's love for him is so cruel here, and he is entirely helpless.

Wonderful, lovely fluff but not at all predictable. Well, only in the best way- I assumed it would be great (it is) and that they'd both be way more open about their feelings than they ever are on the show (which is what I love about your fic).

Wow. Just...This is a beautifully crafted ending. The tone is perfect- we can still hear the echoes of the angst but we're safe from it now. This is happy Jim and happy Pam who have earned happily-ever-after. Love it.
