I totally know what you mean about Pere Lachaise too. I remember telling my mom about how awesome it was (and I spent an entire day there -- also took a TON of pictures) and she was just sort of like, "Okay, well...cool?" I just found your story, and had to log in to tell you how much I am enjoying it. I especially loved this chapter when you talked all about Paris. We went 7 years ago, and your story of Jim & Pam's visit brought back so many memories. I got chills as you wrote about Pere Lachaise, as that was my favorite part of our trip. We took like a roll of pictures there. It really is a beautiful and peaceful place. I always recommend it to others headed to Paris and they always say, "Really? A cemetery?"

I've been all up in another fandom lately, and as such have been neglecting my Jim/Pam fic. This was awesome. You have such a great grasp of their banter, their give and take. It's sexy and hot and sweet and very THEM. (And something I hope we'll see some of in canon -- a little more heat in their comments to each other.) I'd go into more detail, but I'm just so filled up with flail for this story (is that even possible?) that I'm chomping at the bit to rec it everywhere.

I just discovered your story today and read it all in one sitting. I'm really enjoying it! I love seeing Pam with mousse in her hair, developing some new confidence. I also like the idea of maybe she and Jim being honest with each other, even if it is by e-mail. Sometimes it's easier to be honest and open when there's some distance between you. I see this chapter as a possible turning point for Jim & Pam -- if Pam decides to write back and say something meaningful, that is!
Long story short, I think it is better than decent, and I look forward to reading the next chapter!

I just discovered this story today -- read it all in one sitting -- and it was awesome! I loved your take on Pam's interrupting the ceremony (and Roy asking Jim to talk to her!) Loved Jim & the Arby's in the honeymoon suite. Loved him STILL going to Australia, giving Pam the space to get herself (and her apt. together) but not before leaving her with a super hot kiss before he left. And I loved her attacking him as soon as he came back. Now my main thought is (ridiculously enough) that Pam has got to buy herself a couch! Like I said, ridiculous.
