Bio:

Okay, first of all I'm a guy-are there any others writing here?  Yes, I am of course in love with Jenna Fischer and with the fictional character she has created.  And I would totally have a beer and watch some hoops with Jim Halpert.

I've never written romantic stuff in my life; this show just brings it out of me.  My stories here are sort of little daydreams that seem somehow therapeutic to me.  You can usually count on happy endings from my stuff; plenty of heartache on the actual show.

Other stuff:  37, divorced, two kids, I live in Northern Virginia

I'm not usually an angst fan, but this is really good.  A nice example of people who love each other behaving in normal, human ways but ending up causing pain.  Which hopefully will be eventually eased.

WYDM is Scranton's local radio station, with our favorite paper-pushers as DJs. Kelly gossips, Angela gives advice, Toby does traffic, and there's a new guy doing the morning show that's causing quite a stir...

This whole thing is so much fun, though I have to admit the mere thought of Todd Packer dishing out relationship advice made me want to curl up in the fetal position.  Tremendous job, funny and adorable.

Author's Response: Thank you so much!  Yeah, dear God, can you imagine this guy given a microphone?  Anyway, so glad you liked it and thanks so much for reading!

Wow...no one can possibly say you're a one trick pony after this.  A lot of pathos here, and I think you captured exactly how Michael would react at every step.  The whole thing was vivid and strangely moving.

Author's Response: thanks brokenloon! I'm glad you read it!!

Outstanding work, vivid and real.  Sigh.  I want to give Pam a hug and tell her she'll be okay.

she hated the fact that she apparently had the ability to break the heart of every man that had ever meant anything to her.  I love this line...Pam, soft hearted and compassionate as she is, must have just been haunted by the pain she probably felt she caused through that summer.

I can see this whole thing in my mind like it's an actual episode.  Just brilliantly funny with perfect characterization.  A worthy 50th.

Lots of fun.  Several giggles, some chuckles, even some guffaws.  Vintage Michael absurdity, with some great Pam thrown in.  The Pam-Michael dynamic is always fun, and you capture it really well here.  Looking forward to more.

Author's Response:

Guffaws you say?  Alrighty then.  Thank you for your conrtribution to the humor in this chapter.    More to come...hopefully soon, definitely eventually. :)

Belatedly wanted to express again how much I enjoy this; it was the cause of much laughter from my office.  Not that I ever read fanfic at work of course.  I must now wipe away the image of Michael sawing Pam from my mind.

Author's Response:

Are you saying you're running around your office making your co-workers read my fanfic?  Oh...you just meant you.  For a second there I thought I'd gotten a whole new following. :)

Rest your worried mind - Jim won't let Michael anywhere near Pam with a saw - wizard or no.

And most of all thank you.  I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)

It amazes me that you can do both fluff and comedy with the same great skill.  And your Michael here is just absurdly perfect.  Great work that has provided me many laughs

Author's Response: Why thank you.  :)  Michael really is fun to write. I just think of the most ridiculous thing I can and dial it up a few notches.   Happy I could make you laugh.  I certainly laughed writing it.

Way to not only break through the block but smash through it.  When it's all said and done, this is both one of the funniest fics ever, and also one of the great Michael characterizations ever.  Brilliant from start to finish....now get to work on your next one.

Author's Response:

As you know - this was not at all easy for me so for you to say I've succeeded in such a fashion means a tremendous amount.

Next one??  Eaaaaasy there buddy.  Let me collect myself a little bit. :)

PS: Thank you. :)

Awww, how sweet was this?  It's a neat trick, even though this contained little dialogue, you still have your patented pefect Pam characterization.  Great stuff, truly a perfect little piece.

Author's Response: I thought it was pretty sweet myself. :) Thank you.  There are times when writing I can see Pam's reactions so clearly - and I think this was one of them.  Glad to hear you did too.

Wow, you really explored the studio space with this one.  Jim truly seemed numb and profoundly tired as S3 wore on, and that is depicted viscerally here.  The idea of him finally finding rest as he gives up denying his feelings and keeping his distance and turns to her is really powerful.  Great job.  Quite a varied body of work you're building.

What, are you stealing my thunder with the Springsteen lyric song titles?  If The Office were only on HBO, maybe we'd get to see something just like this.  You do a great job with realistic bedroom stuff, and the dialogue is right, and of course the horror that the ending evokes...good lord.  Poor Pam.  Great stuff.

Author's Response: Okay would I purposefully steal your thunder?  Thanks for the encouragement to post, the beta, and in generally being a good friend.  I also appreciate the vote of confidence on the smut-lite.  I always feel ridiculous writing it, and I'm convinced it is hard to know if it works for the reader or not.  Wouldn't it be great if TO were on HBO?  I would love that.  Yes, Dwight....sigh...well we all know he has a soft spot for Pam (HE DOES DANGIT)  but how far does that go I wonder?   I mean can he be nice in this scenario?  We'll see....

It took me a while, and I still ended up with a few lines that didn't match the meter, but it's a good thing they're not noticable. ; ) Clever AND funny? You sure know how to flatter a girl! Seriously, thank you so much for the nice review!

Wow, this is just brilliant.  You channel Angela so well that I'm a little bit afraid.  "My cats have conjunctivitis and I have only one set of goggles."  I would suggest that women everwyhere memorize that line and use it to shed any unwanted guys hoping to come back to their place.  It would get rid of me in a hurry, I know that much.  Of course if that didn't work, bringing up the Feline Idiopatic Cystisis would surely do it.

More soon, please.

Thanks! I'm so glad people like my Angela stuff! I actually went onto a cat lovers' message board to find some weird disorder that a cat could have. It's also where I found out that some cat owners treat their kitties' pink-eye with a homemade saline solution. Heh.
