I recently graduated from college and now work as an editor for a local publishing house.
I know my writing isn't anywhere close to brilliant, but I've decided to put it out there anyway, hoping that it will brighten someone's day, even if it's just my own.
What if Pam had gone along with Michael and Dwight to the convention? Was she ready to see Jim? Was Jim ready to face Pam?Okay, I know it's completely reprehensible that I've never read this, but I'm so excited for it now. This is an awesome beginning and I can't wait to see what happens next.
Gah! This is getting so good. If I haven't been reviewing it's because I've been too wrapped up in this story! So good!
Agh! This is insanely good and I have been so unproductive at work today because of it, but still I really needed this today, and it only keeps getting better and better!
What an awesome epilogue for an equally awesome story. I literally stayed late at work to finish reading it. And I'd say more now, but I think I'll get locked in the building if I stay much longer. You should just know though that it was exactly what I needed today. So thank you. :)
This is an idea I've had for a long time. It is inspired by the very end of the Six Feet Under series finale (hence the title), and it seems that the 55 word style would be perfect for it. Each chapter will focus on a different Office character. 20 chapters are planned.

Pam and Jim are engaged and planning their upcoming wedding, but Jim has a peculiar temporary living arrangement. This story is one week of at-work emails surrounding the situation. Please note that Fancy New Beesly is in full bloom; she takes a hard line with Michael these days.Yay for re-writing! You're right, this is WAY better than the first version. I especially loved all the Dwight and Angela stuff. And Michael. And even the little bit of Kelly. Congratulations on a very funny chapter! ;)

It's a good thing you posted this second chapter because you probably would've lost me without it. I mean, I liked your first chapter okay, but I wasn't really excited to read until Jim showed up with the flowers (yay!) The only thing I don't get is that it seems like Jim would have had the initiative to fix their relationship sooner, but I'm glad he's doing it now!

Totally awesome, but that's just a given. I love that we get to see them interacting both on and off-line now. Like when Pam's chatting and Jim isn't, but he's still in on her conversation. So cute! And I love that she made him dinner because I think it just proves that even though she's making Jim do all these things for her, it's not like she doesn't want to do things for him too. They really are adorable. Also, it was fun to hear your slant on the scenes from the episode! It's so much fun to imagine Squirrel fitting in with season 4. :)

Amazing, Mox, as always! ;) I love that you're getting into the lives of the other chatters because I think we've all become so attached to these people that its really fun to have you fill in all the little details.
And I love that Dwight is a task. Totally fits with the current Jim/Pam/Dwight storyline. And the continuation of that scene on the roof was just genius. Basically this whole chapter was awesome, and I really hope Leikha gets everything she's been dreaming about. I'm kind of in her shoes a little bit these days, and it's really hard to go after what you want at the expense of practical things like money, and parental approval, but I guess it's something that everyone needs to do at some point in their lives, right?

YES!!! I'm so glad you actually wrote this. And it was perfect! Sigh. If only I really had a Jim. Until then, this is a pretty good substitute. :D Oh, and I think you should make it a round robin, if only to encourage more dates with Jim!! Also, I wouldn't call this bad!fic since it's pretty much the exact opposite!

Awesome! I loved the way you incorporated the angsty Jim from past seasons into this explanation of the new Jim. I don't know if that makes any sense, but what I really meant to say was that this story does a nice job of pulling it all together and showing how Jam has come full circle. Well done!

falulatonks requested a Pam/Kelly make-over fic based on the song Popular from Wicked. Kelly gives Pam some basic pointers on improving her image and the rest, as they say, is history. Spoilers up the The Job. Oh. my. gosh. That was soo good! This is such a fun song, and a fun concept. I loved that Kelly was a real person underneath all the sparkles and glitter. And I loved how Pam found her girly side. And basically I loved the whole thing. Nice job! :)

This was great, Muggins! I loved the interaction between Oscar and Pam. I wasn't a huge fan of the Finer Things club, when I first saw the episode, but this story made it a lot more appealing.
