I'm switching to Yes on beta-reader, because I should have more time now that I've finished my own recent story and I'll probably take a break from writing. I don't know how many requests will come from that, so I reserve the right to change back to No if I get overwhelmed. :) But I am an unrepentant grammar Nazi, and have edited a LOT in the past, so I'm totally up for a little beta.

You know, usually I'd feel cheated that I didn't get to read what was in the note--at least what you thought was in the note--but since you alluded to the fact that he at least wrote "I love you" in it, I think that was just fine. Peachy, in fact! I love it that Pam's so overcome by his words, because it's so authentic to her character. So sweet.

I love that they didn't "do anything about it" in this fic, but just underscored a little more their obvious soulmatedness. :) I don't particularly like fics where either of them cheats on their current relationship, even though that's sometimes a necessary means to an end. But this is just the perfect mix of friendship and longing and teeny tiny bits of taking what they want while not really taking it.

10 LOL! Oh, Kelly. You say the darnedest things! But that's one of the things I love about Kelly: the way she can snap out of her own drama to notice something about someone else.

I think Kelly is a lot smarter than she's letting on! ;) And I do believe that she's such a romantic (hey aren't we all?) that even though Ryan had just dumped her, she felt more excited about Jim and Pam finally getting together after all these years. I'm sure that when everybody finds out in Season 4 (whenever that is) that she will have some sort of DAWESOME monologue comparing Jim, Pam, and Karen to Brad, Angelina, and Jennifer Aniston... but then of course she would say that Pam wasn't a homewrecker like Angelina... ha ha ha. I love Kelly.
