I thought I was just here to read, but I guess I ended up writing a little. My bad. :)
I'm switching to Yes on beta-reader, because I should have more time now that I've finished my own recent story and I'll probably take a break from writing. I don't know how many requests will come from that, so I reserve the right to change back to No if I get overwhelmed. :) But I am an unrepentant grammar Nazi, and have edited a LOT in the past, so I'm totally up for a little beta.
I've always loved the secret connection between Phyllis and Jim...she always knows what's going on...Oh! SQUEE! This is really sweet. There were so many things to look for in each one, from the subject lines (did Phyllis start the email string or was she replying to one Jim sent, and if it's the latter, what did he probably write?) to the dates to the content itself. So enjoyable!
Rumble? Ha! That's great.
And I love the part with Michael and Jan making up. I hope they make up again--after what happened in Women's Appreciation, I'm just all sad now. :(
Oh, that was a wonderful, wonderful chapter. And Creed! God, he's so drug-addled. It's great.
I totally love your dialogue in this. Michael is completely authentic. This is freakin' awesome:
"Is she the top, Michael, since she's your boss?" Kevin asked.
"Kevin, that's -- inappropriate. And ... maybe."
And this was hilarious Jim-speak:
"Jim got to play basketball with the CFO, David Wallace."
"Get out!" Meredith said. "Is he cute?"
"Oh, yeah, totally," Jim said sarcastically. "We made out behind the garage."
The chapter ending is fabulous, too. Thank God this story is complete and I can just keep on reading. Whew! The suspense would've killed me otherwise.
Yup, it’s a post-Cocktails fic! With a bit of a twist. Karen does a bad thing, and Jim is about to suffer the consequences…Loving this story. It comes off as very real and plausible. Can't wait for chapter 6.

The difficulty of this--the painfully slow steps, the way it's so hard for them to just talk, or even touch each other--has completely drawn me in. I can't wait to see how the conversation goes, but I know it'll be worth the wait.
10 Oh my. I didn't know there could be a cuter Jim than the Jim we all know and love, but I'm pretty sure a Jim that sings to his newborn daughter is the cutest Jim of all. Excellent job. I loved it.

Pam's discovered the world of internet chat rooms. Jim can't resist the chance to be near her in cyberspace. Spoilers up to Cocktails. 10 Aw! It's the end of an era! Well, I guess a tish under an era, but still. It was such fun reading this story, and while I'm a little sad it's over, you wrote a great ending that keeps everything open for a sequel. Great job, and thank you for entertaining us all.
As a dork fondler from way back, I applaud Pam's actions. Good show, Pam! However, talking to Jim about her period? Eep! I seriously said to myself, "Oh no, she did NOT just do that." Oh well. I guess every couple has to have the BC discussion at some point, so why not just get it out of the way in the break room?
This was fab:
"I guess this means you'll have to share the guacamole."
"That's fine," Pam replied. "At least I won't have to share anything else after today."

I really enjoyed their banter in this chapter. I loved Oscar and Kevin betting on Jim & Karen's relationship, and I further loved Phyllis giving Jim the "way to go" speech. So sweet.

Pam> Why would they?
Jim> Because I did.

Oh, holy crap. I can die now. Seriously. Damn. Best chapter ending IN THE WORLD. I'm deeply in love with this chapter. I'm going to take it to a department store and register for wedding gifts with it. I'll even let it hold the scanning gun thingie. My God, I love it.
Oh, and please update soon. I can't wait to see how this ends up. Not that I don't have an idea. But still. DAMN, IT'S SO FREAKIN' GOOD!

A lot of fics have Pam calling Jim on the fact that he didn't give her very much time to choose him before he up and left, but this is the first time I've seen her articulate it so well. Very nice job.
Oh, Karen. That's no way to be, girl. If your guy's in love with another girl, you've got about a 1% chance of making things work with him, and being a snarky bitch does not work toward that 1-in-100 shot. Bad Karen. No biscuit.
I hope you continue to compulsively update, because I'm really enjoying this story.

Before, during, after (peas, waffles.) Post-Cocktails...but no fighting.Okay, I'll admit I'm a fawner from way back--it's true. But this story...honestly, I think this is my favorite story in the world. I cannot say enough good things about it. Even though you've taken them completely outside any environment and situation we've seen on the show, and that runs the risk of them slipping out of character, I could effortlessly picture them every step of the way. That's great writing. Such a great story.
