This started as a short little oneshot in response to the All About a Peripheral Character challenge, but some very kind reviewers mentioned it might be cool to continue with this idea. So here it is, the new and improved story of the other Jim and Pam :o)
How does Hunter, Jan's former personal assistant (and I guess Ryan's current assistant), relate to our favorite office? Well, let's just say he's a lot like Jim...
9 Love Hunter's band name. Also love that he drinks sligthly girly french vanilla coffee. So what is the appropriate name mix here, Huntace? Grater? I like Grater. Well done.
I read a book called Define Normal when I was in grade school and I always said that if I ever started a band that's the name I would use. Of course, I have no musical talents, so I was glad to pass it on to Hunter. And French vanilla coffee from Wawa is soo good I just had to use it!
I hereby declare this pairing to be named Grater. :o)

9 Hee hee. V. nice Kelly revenge. Totally plausable. She couldn't possibly generate her own idea, she'd totally steal it from some pop cultural reference.
10 What a great ending to a lovely story. This whole thing has just been very insightful. I think you really had a good handle on Pam's inner thoughts. Well done.

Pam reflects on the hazards of having a best friend as a boyfriend, who also happens to be her coworker and her costar. Spoilers up to The Job.10 I liked the second story the best. Overall though, it was great. Good job!
After being dumped by Jim, Karen tries to take back control of her life... by kidnapping Jim! What nefarious plans does Karen have in store for him? Can Pam rescue Jim before Karen makes him a castrati? Why is Dwight obsessed with semen? All this and more inside! You'd think that maybe it'd be more of a crime drama than anything else, but I'm voting for the anything else.
And how come there's no option for Genres:Twisted? I'd use that.
9 Ok 1) Awesome use of the work kerfluffle and 2) Karen must be doing some serious gym time to be able to dead lift Jim off a parking lot. Man I can't wait for chapter 2.
1) I love kerfuffle. I try to use it as often as possible.
2) A fireman's carry is all about technique. If you get it right, you can lift easily half again your own weight. That being said, the weight difference between Jim and Karen may be more than that, stretching the credibility of this a bit. But where the hell would this story go if she couldn't get him out of the parking lot? That would be dumb (maybe I should write an alternate version - could be funny).
9 As far as I'm concerned, chapter titles are irrelevant given the story title. Love love love your take on men designing women's shoes. It is more than a little preposterous. The side use as a murder weapon is only fair given the incredible pain involved in wearing the damn things solely for your entertainment. On to the next chapter.
Author's Response: I just don't get the whole women's shoes thing. Why can't they make them look like feet anymore? They're all either pointy or blocky and if you can't stab someone to death you can bludgeon them. And they're probably counterproductive for us guys because the shin splints you gals get from weaing them make you irritable and we can't handle that at all.
10 Ok, I did like the chapter title here. Karen IS more than kind of a bitch. Its only fair/realistic she feel pain after dead lifting a passed out Jim. In preparation for S4, my overanalyzation powers are gearing up. So is this pre-The Job or post-The Job? Clearly Karen's part sounds post-Job but she cut his hair again? I guess that is kind of his Achilles heel, per se. So post-Job? Can't wait for DAM to catch on. Next chapter perhaps?
Author's Response: This is post-The Job by about 3 weeks, give or take. Just enough time for Jim's hair to have started getting shaggy again (depending on how fast his hair grows). Yes, in the next chapter Pam and Dwight are hot on the trail, so stay tuned (okay, that doesn't even make sense with TV anymore).
10 As I was reading this I could help but add the dee-dee-le-do, dee-dee-le-do, dee-dee-le-do sound effects even before I read your end notes. This was so an appropriate ending(s?). My contribution (which I realize is completely unsolicited) involves at least one random celebrity (Screech, Neil Diamond, Luke Perry, Scott Baio or the like),and some essential life lesson such as one should always take their anti-psychotic medication, bulimia is bad or wait until you're married for sex. Awesome job. The Creed inclusion, brilliant! Can't wait to see what you come up with next. Awww, don't be so hard on Andy (TWSS).

Screech would make an awesome addition to any fic. Especially the serious ones. I think the message is "always buy one less banana than you think you're going to eat". That's my life lesson.

10 Think of all the hours and hours and hours of angst that could have been avoided if this really happened. On the other hand, it seems like most fic thrives on angst. Therefore, if you remove angst, you removed lots and lots of fic. Good one Kev, you've completely invalidated the existence of most of the writers here. All this time I've spent trying to come up with relavent, helpful, even witty reviews was completly useless too. Now I'm just trying to make my review longer than your story.
No really, this was great. You should go on vacation more if this is what you bring back. Awesome story.

A year or two before the cameras arrived, Michael takes the staff to the Poconos for a camaraderie event. Much unresolved sexual tension and angst ensues (uh, between Jim & Pam, not the entire staff).
Woo hoo new chapter! But sad chapter. Pam is kinda jerking him around too much as his bro so helpfully pointed out. Right now I'm having a difficult time feeling sorry for Pam. She seems selfish and I'm having kinda a hard time empathizing with her. But great chapter and I'm looking forward to the happy. I'll definitely keep refreshing tonight in the hopes of another chapter. Yeah for football season!

10 I've recently realized somthing. I don't leave you a lot of reviews. Not because I don't love your stories but because I do. I am hopelessly hooked on yet another girl7 story. You get so many awesome reviews that I just don't think there's really anything useful I can add. Anyway, you're awesome, for this story and all of your others and I will really try to review more as that is the only currency I have to offer here.
