It’s strange how life changes. How suddenly, everything isn’t about you anymore.

 Pam has no idea how her life got so messed up. She has no idea how she let it go on for so long. But now, she has a reason to get out. A reason to survive. A reason to change her life. She's going to do right by this little girl. She's going to make sure that her life is better than anything Pam ever had.

Jim & Pam celebrate St. Valentines in a special way this year.

Spoilers through Season 6.

Jim Halpert told her once that he was not the leaving kind, and she believed him.

So I've re-named this after having written some more of the story. And changed it all a little. Instead of the temptations and fights I'd wanted to write, this all took a different spin.

Now we're starting with Jim's leaving and going back to examine how he got to that point.

Definitely a little heartbreaking, if I do say so myself. You've been warned.
