As usual, he can refuse her nothing.
*sigh*
When, when, when? When can we get to this? Also, I love this and you. For realsies.
Author's Response:
I was just checking back through my review replies and I guess I missed this one!!
I KNOW. GOD. Soon please??? I'm not above begging at this point.
Oh...and right back at ya! ;)

I can't even process all the brilliance right now to write anything resembling a coherent review! It was just...wow. Everything was spot on, from fake preggie pops to Michael's "symptoms" to Jim calling Pam Kelly to the actual proposal itself. I went from choking on my lunch while laughing to choking on my lunch while holding back tears. Careful with the choking!!! Who's going to leave me such lovely reviews if you perish like that?? :) Thank you so much. I'm very glad you enjoyed it. Now. Take tiny bites next time!! ;)

I needed a happy pill (writing something kinda angsty), so I just re-read this chapter and realized I never left you a proper review. You know I LOVED it, but still...couple of things I didn't mention during my preview: the chapter title? Genius. Dwight and Angela's invented religion? Priceless. The entire proposal made me simultaneously laugh and choke up (you know that Grandma-love-role -model works for me!) I hope this series never ends...is that too much to ask?
Author's Response:
Colette - Thank you!! When you're talking diamonds - you can't resist a Marilyn reference. And THANK YOU! I was so proud of Dwight and Angela's religion and no one else seemed to share my joy.
As for the story I promise. As long as I'm inspired - I'll keep adding to it. :)

That has got to be one of the best propsals I've read! awesome, awesome, awesome, xoxoxo!!!!
Oh, and the whole Dimonelle and cubic zirconia thing--killed me. Seriously, I'm dead.
Author's Response:
Aw shucks StarShine. So glad you liked it!! It's not the first time I've had Jim ask her so I was a tad worried that it wouldn't play out well. Glad to hear it wasn't the case!
I hope someone comes to resuscitate you - 'cause I'd hate to get a murder rap. :)

*happy sigh* This is just... wonderful and happy. Jim giving her his grandmothers ring. Michael Jr. An equal mix of happiness and funniness.
Author's Response:
I have a fondness for Jim using his grandmother's ring. This is the second story where I've gone that route. There's just something I love about that idea.
Michael Jr. is a frightening thought is it not????

aww! I read that all in one sitting, I couldn't pull myself away! It was sucha great story and the ending was fantastic! oh, and that movie you were taling about with the midevil restaurant wasw cable guy.
Author's Response:
Thanks Beth! There might be one more chapter - we shall see. I'm so glad you liked the ending. I realized today this is about the 4th proposal I've written for Jim and Pam. LOL!
And thanks! I did google and find out the movie...after I posted the chapter of course!!

Ahhh! That proposal scene was just so unbelievably romantic and sweet that I'm swooning. Awwwwww!
And, oh my God, Michael, killing me with laughter. His book. His "emprathy" symptoms. QVC. Oh, Lord. I can see it all and I am very freaked out about the thought of a Michael Scott Jr unleashed on the world!
‘In order for condoms to be an effective form of birth control simply buying them is not enough. You actually need to wear them' - Holy...
Author's Response:
YAY for swooning!!!
It's a scary, scary thought Semby. I don't know if the world is ready....
Date: March 10, 2007 01:27 am Title: I'm not myself lately, I'm foolish. I don't do this
Well, I'm a little sad not to see a jousting tournament between Michael and Jim, but this was a very nice substitute :) So sweet!
Author's Response:
My apologies. Who knows? Maybe someday I'll go back and elaborate. :)
Thanks so much for the review!

Your Michael dialogue just about had me in tears. Please, please write more Michael!fic. And Jim and Pam? *sigh* such a sap. I LOVE PROPOSALS.
Author's Response:
OK then. If you say so I will write some more Michael. Just for you. :)
I think I could give you a run for your money in the sap department my dear. :)
And LOL! to your response to my Round Robin review.

I love how you write Jim/Pam interactions. They're just so sweet and perfectly in-character.
Author's Response: Thank you Rowena! I certainly do try and it's so nice to know you think I've succeeded!!!

Hugs,
I read the first two chapters earlier, but neglected to review, so I wanted to jump on the bandwagon and tell you how much I love your Michael. I totally see him becoming even more dysfunctional at work due to sympathy pregnancy symptoms. I hope this happens in the show next season. I don't think it would be unrealistic at all, since they both want kids so badly.
And Jim proposing? Finally? Who doesn't love that??
Author's Response:
Writing Michael is really much more fun than I even imagined. He's great because he really does want to be taken seriously and yet what comes out of his mouth....
And yeah - I've got a little soft spot for Proposing!Jim. Sometimes I just can't help myself!!!
Date: March 09, 2007 03:01 pm Title: A kiss on the hand may be quite continental...
Awwww. Michael and Jan's pregnancy is exactly as I've envisioned it! Hee.
Author's Response: Hee back at you. I was going to go way over the top with him but in the end - I realized he is over the top - even when he's quiet about it. :)
Date: March 09, 2007 02:46 pm Title: A kiss on the hand may be quite continental...
There's a reason you were impatient -- it's awesome! Michael is so...Michael. And the end is adorable!
Author's Response: I felt soooooo bad. :( But I was getting sooooooo antsy! Thanks so much!

The first Jan segment talking to Dr. Perry was just fantastic, and it only got better from there. I was planning on going to sleep, but I saw this and just had to read it and it was worth it. I'm never not impressed by anything you write.
Author's Response: I'm sorry to cost you a good night's sleep - but not sorry at all that you enjoyed the story. Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know. It sounds trite but it really means a lot to me. :)

WARNING: Contents contain severe hilarity and should not be read while eating lunch.
That was just beyond brilliant. I WANT this to happen! Seriously, how dawesome would it be to actually watch Michael Scott trying to set up an already secretly dating Jim and Pam? "Who'd give a baby arrows? They're dangerous..." BWAH! And I can see them admitting to Jan that they're already together but Jan telling them to let Michael think he pulled off the matchmaking. Because Jan loves Michael. And that is the way the world should be. Yay!
(Also, what kind of a hell beast would be unleashed upon the unsuspecting world if Jim Carrey's character from Cable Guy and Michael Scott were to meet up at the Medieval Times? Eep!)
Author's Response:
Wow! You've been busy keeping up with me today! LOL!
This is one of the most fun. Writing Michael at his most insane can't help but put one in a good mood.
AND THANK YOU! CABLE GUY! I could not for the life of me remember where I'd seen that scene when I wrote this.
I love your idea about Jan. I might just steal it - if you don't mind. :)

Oh, Michael. You crazy, awesome fool. This was so much fun! Thanks! And I really want to read the part where they have to eat with their hands and I'm kind of hoping Jim and Pam get talked (coerced) into some audience participation.
Author's Response: Oh goodness Paper Jam. I wasn't even thinking of going there and now I am. LOL! I think you might like what I have in mind for the next installment however. Here's a hint - think proposals.... :)

Despite my schedul, I do love me some fanfic. :) This is such an awesome story where you have combined two of my all-time favourite pairings so this just great. And I'm a dork so I also gave it a ribbon because everyone should read it. (Even if I'm not impartial because I betaed it, but I don't care! LOL)
Author's Response:
Aww - thank you Gen!!
I'm a dork who loves ribbons - so I'm glad for your impartiality. :)

Well, you already know I think this is all that and a bag of chips (french onion Sunchips that is, NOT Herr's S&V!)
Some days, it's stories like this that keep me from jumping ship...being patient for that day when Jim stops channeling Rain Man in his cluelessness, and Pam shows a little moxie (!) Can't wait for more of this. A total confection.
Author's Response:
Thank you Colette! I too, cannot wait for that day. I'm sure that comes as a complete shock to you!!
Thanks so much for your 2 cents before and after the fact. ;)

OMG, I laughed SO much during this story. If you just continue to write stories like this (including Michael, AND Jim + Pam sekrit lurve) I will award you the "Wins At Life" medal. I loved it! Your Michael is hilarious and so ... Michael. And Michael & Jan. Ahhhh. So awesome. Medieval Times, too! WOW.
Author's Response: Wow! I've never had a medal before. :) I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Methinks there are still more "rules" Michael will feel the need to impart - so stay tuned. :)
Date: February 21, 2007 10:29 am Title: Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps...
Oh wow, this is so cute, and painful, and just like the show, but in a good way (since me and the writers are not speaking at the moment)... please, PLEASE write more!
Author's Response:
Thanks StarShine. I feel your pain - but lately I just keep thinking that if they let Pam and Jim get all this crap out of their system there will be nothing to stand in their way. :)

He can tell she's feeling self-conscious so he leans close and whispers. "Stop worrying. You look beautiful."
I LOVED this line.... ohh I love this story, your Michael is very spot-on and just freakin' hilarious. Lovely job!
Author's Response:
I mean really. This is the problem with Jim and Pam not being together - because he would totally say stuff like that to her!!!
Oh Pam. What you are missing by keeping your feelings to yourself.
SIGH.
Date: February 21, 2007 10:13 am Title: Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps...
Bless you, xoxoxo! Your Michael is scary, and by that I mean that he is spot-on. Oy.
Author's Response: Thank you lisahoo! I'm glad you like my Michael. He's a hoot to write!
Date: February 21, 2007 10:00 am Title: Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps...
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I lurve this. Any fic that sticks Michael in the middle of a JAM sandwich is my kind of fic.
And by the way, this:
"Who'd give a baby arrows? They're dangerous..."
Almost killed me. I love Michael. Not as much as Jan, but you know...
Author's Response:
Happy to oblige. :)
Michael's got such a good heart. He's just a bit misguided. :)
Date: February 21, 2007 09:36 am Title: Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps...
cute! we do have a PA renaissance faire in central PA. It is awesome, but I don't think it would fit because it is a daytime event, you spend either Saturday or Sunday there. And its a whole town. I'm sure Micheal would love it. :)
Author's Response: I was in a Renaissance Fair once when I was a kid. I thought it was the coolest ever. And yes - Michael would LOVE it! No question!!!
Date: February 21, 2007 09:34 am Title: Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps...
Love is like... peanut butter. It's sticky and if you are not careful you could find out you're allergic to it and die."
That line is awesome. And sadly, so true! :)
Cute story. Thanks for the fluff!
Author's Response: Thanks FNB! Poor Michael. He just can't get the hang of similes. :)
