This description of what Pam is like when the two of them on their own (And Pam had been wiggling even still because she was, for some reason, extremely hyper that night. She was always sort of that way whenever Roy wasn’t around. Whenever it was just the two of them. And he can remember the vibration of her laughter through his entire body and how she’d slid around in her bowling shoes) has always really stuck with me.

I guess you probably aren't going to given how long it's been, but I'd really like to see you finish season three and maybe even get into season four. You've written some great stories here. Thanks for that

This is really fantastic, you should definitely continue it! These add so much to the season as a whole and I love how you create your own scene and not just comment on the ones we've already seen. I always thought it was a little strange that we never heard anything about how Jim didn't go to her art show, except for her big blow up. A really good take on why he didn't make it or was really late.

It’s not about how pretty her art is. He recognizes this, understands this.
Yes, he would. How I wish this were real. *sigh*

“If you’re going to ask if you can sire me, the answer is no.” - I just finished reading a vampire trilogy, so this had me laughing out loud. Thanks for giving me closure on the episode.

If only. I love that he gets why her doing this is important, notices how she's dressed and that it means something...this has that specific mix of tenderness and funny and deep understanding that makes the Jim/Pam relationship so relatable and lovely . (And that I've missed so much in the actual show lately.) The last sentence is good and it hurts.

I'm so glad you're continuing this because it's one of my favourite series' - and one of the first I truly loved after beginning to read Office fic.
She tried to bottle the feeling inside of her, but the top wouldn’t stay on and it spilled back out of her until she was empty again, nothing but glass.
Loved that line.

He doesn't say that he's got about ten at home. He just takes it from her hand, thankful to have one that ins't crumpled up.
this made me melt into a puddle of goop and i had to wait a while before my hands were solid enough to type my review...

she imagines his words are clouds.
Oh god what a beautiful line. I love this chapter so much I want to have sex with it [/Dr. Cox] You continue to amaze and delight me. Thanks. Can't wait to see what you write when Oscar comes home.

Oh I'm really so glad you updated this- it's definitely my favorite series ever.
She wants to say that it’s because she loves him more than she’s ever loved anything and she helps him, because he’s her best friend and if she can’t have him as more, than she’ll take him like this.
That line just perfectly articulates what Pam must be going through right now. Ugh, it just breaks my heart. Seriously, this is a comedy we're watching, right??

This is just so delicate and beautiful and really nails the pathos of this episode. Especially love your first and last lines - he's a shadow/his words are like clouds. Perfect images to describe how she feels his huge presence in her life by his absence and how nebulous/ungraspable the things she really needs from him have become. So, so sad.

Killing me. You - and the two of them. I really didn't expect Pam to lose it, but I was (oddly) glad to see it.
And now I feel so much better.
And this???
She tried to bottle the feeling inside of her, but the top wouldn’t stay on and it spilled back out of her until she was empty again, nothing but glass.
Amazing.

His hand’s between her shoulder blades and it makes her want to tell him that she’s so incredibly lonely all the time, that she woke up on Christmas morning and when she moved her leg over, the sheets were like ice and she isn’t sure how she’s kept breathing.
That just - broke my heart. It's so unbelievably sad, this image, the entire situation she's in - it's strange how the roles've reversed, now - and just the other day I was thinking about Office Christmases and I was filled with so much sadness for her, crap, it's just freaking sad.
And I adored how she was thinking she'd just take what she gets, because that's exactly what Jim had seemed to do, before.
And finally I love that Jim finds her, because it nagged at me the way it was Roy [although he's growing on me]...stupid freaking Jim, stupid Pam; I'm just hoping the pay-off is goood.
Brilliant as always, things like broken pieces of glass; everything put together is just about beautiful. I was sad before but this has cheered me up a bit. ;) Thank you.

So lovely and sad, especially the part about taking him however she can get him. I'm liking how they're reversing roles a little.

Love that she never looks at him, then has to sense him in other ways.
Lovely final line.
