Wow. Beating back tears of my own over here.

How can I possibly list all the things I loved about this? I mean, besides the obvious: their impending nuptials. Heh. The relationship between Pam and her future MIL was very thoughtful and real and I would actually love more of them hanging out!

Boys ARE insane. And you should never get rid of your vinyl!

Author's Response:

I think Jim's wanting to sell his mom's records has more to do with her choice in music than the fact they were albums.  I think he'd actually appreciate vinyl.

I'd say I'm sorry about the tears but I'm thrilled something I wrote would move you to them!

Sweet, sweet, sweet, hugs. And of course, perfectly topped off with a dollop of guacamole! Yum! ;-)

Author's Response:

Thanks Par5!!

LOL!  It's so much fun to play around with things we'll never ever see. :)

Aw, so sweet! And seamless use of the elements. I got to the bottom and I was like "Really?" Nice work!

Author's Response: Nicest compliment you could give.  Thanks so much!

I just love it when the 5 elements are listed at the end, because I never guess what they are as I read the story!  (I was thinking trout and wedding veil!) Great job with working them in to such a cute little story.

Author's Response:

I honestly wasn't trying to trick you w/the trout.  (LOL!  Yet another phrase I'd never thought I'd type!  LOL!) but it was more that I need to find a manly sort of thing for Jim and his dad to go do - and I don't see Jim as a hunter AT ALL.

The amount of thought I put into these things scare me sometimes.  LOL!

Ahhh!  I'm all smiley over here; this was such a great fic - and you really worked in the elements brilliantly!  (I snorted when Pam said, "Your guacamole recipe?")  What a lovely, lovely piece of work - and I'm astonished at the fact that you did this in two hours.

So yes, you and Moxie just keep up the competition, because it works out quite nicely for the rest of us - so much good stuff to read.  :o)

Author's Response: Improv!Fic is so much fun.  I'm shocked that I've been able to pull these off myself.  It's a nice little way to challenge yourself - so kudos to ObsessionInc for starting the frenzy!

Nice.  I'd like to actually see a picture like that (reminds me of Dwight at the end of The Alliance.  Great use of your prompts.

Author's Response: I know - don't you?!  It would be hysterical I think.  Thanks so much for the review!

I loved this.  And again, I forgot all about the five elements until the end.  I'm amused by how freaked out Pam is by eating trout.  Really?  *smirks*

Author's Response: I'm so glad - 1) that you loved it and 2) that you forgot about the elements. :)  Pam might not be the one freaked out about the trout - it's more likely me.  ;) I was at a dinner once and there was this lovely looking salad.  What I assumed was slices of chicken was actually smoked trout and I have never been the same since.  LOL!!!   Also - I might be that girl who pays so much attention to detail that she'd look up the fishing schedules for PA in cold weather months.  I just might.  Hee!

That was just so so great!  I bow before your ability to spin anything into perfect cotton candy!

Author's Response:

There's something to be said for knowing one's strengths. ;)  So glad you liked it!!

Like opening a box of assorted chocolates and biting into the perfect one. Clever, sweet and speedy. And on deadline - I'm impressed! Bleached blonde teenage Jim is too funny and cute to contemplate...and why the hell can't Larissa drop by the show and knock some sense into their heads? What's keeping her? Thanks for this PSA for how it should be.

Author's Response:

You are incredibly sweet and I have to tell you it's pretty much your fault.  After I read your story last night Moxie gave me some elements.  I had the image of Jim + Pam's wedding on the brain and there you have it.   I didn't even start working on Hourglass fyi - so it's not like I'm holding out on you.  This just put me in a much better mood!!

I've got a call in to Larissa ;) so hopefully she'll stop by soon.

FLUFF!!!
How cute is Jim's family? I mean, really?
Pam wants a guacamole recipe!!
And Jim dyed his hair just like Dwight!!
Hee.
Consider your crown relinquished.
cheers.

Author's Response:

Do you mean consider it reclaimed?  LOL!  It was simply Moxie taunting me about writing as many stories as me.  I had to do something.  I cannot lie.  I immediately thought of Dwight's hair when I wrote this.

YAY FOR FLUFF!! awesome improve, was trying to guess which were the five items, and i was completely off on some of them, so, great job on weaving them in! i love the thought of pam bonding with larissa. just beautiful.

Author's Response:

Thanks so much!!  Sorry to trick you but I'm glad you couldn't tell - I was a tad worried.  :)

OMG -- girl talk?  the Partridge family?  Blonde Jim?  Most of all, planning the Jam wedding -- fluffylicious!

Author's Response:

The idea of Blonde Jim just cracks me up.  There was all the talk about JK's and Leatherheads and I decided it just needed to happen. heehee!

Oh that was soooo sweet!  I completely loved it!  :-)  And the only way I would have noticed the 5 elements was because I was specficially looking for them - you worked them in perfectly!  I'm happy to let you keep the crown!  (for now, anyway!) :-)

Author's Response:

YAY!!  Oh good - because I really thought I was being uber-obvious.

I actually could be wearing a crown today if I wanted.  I have a bunch of Happy New Year tiaras (complete with glitter and white feathers) on my desk (LONG STORY).  Maybe I should put one on!!  LOL!

This is so, so sweet and lovely. We can only hope that somewhere in their fictional future lies such a moment. Wonderful job!

Author's Response: I refuse to believe such a moment is not possible. :)  Thanks Lyss!
